Listed as a Thai show, but it's set in China with Chinese actors and Chinese dialog. The show is a fantastic political thriller with a gay love story. The production values, costuming and sets were just beautiful. The story is engrossing, even without the boys love aspect, it was completely worth watching. The acting was good, some characters are a little goofy, but that makes them endearing. I was very surprised that I was compelled to just keep watching it even though each of the 12 episodes is 45 minutes long, it still wasn't enough time with these characters. My only complaint is that some of the dialog moves very quickly so I had pause it a bit, especially in the beggining with the set up of the story's background, but now that I have the who and what down and the second viewing can only be better.
