- If I were to choose between the Emperor and Fuheng, I would choose the former. With his status, he would be able to protect Wei Yinglou in ways that Fuheng can’t.
- The villains merely serve as haters of Yinglou. No nuance in their characterization. Some characters' villain arcs felt rushed and confusing
