A Heartfelt Journey of Love, Family, and Life: Review of Love Song in Winter

This drama starts by deeply touching our feelings, making us want to know why a proper goodbye was never said. It keeps the audience constantly curious. In Love Song in Winter, we are taken on an emotional journey from initial sadness to ultimate happiness.

I really appreciate the many flashbacks in this drama because they show the hard work of every actor and actress. Some scenes that initially felt awkward actually turned out to be intentional, making the audience feel the anxiety and uncertainty of time passing within a love story. When time stops suddenly and you are left behind for a very long time, it makes you wonder: in real life, would we really be strong enough to stay single and keep our love locked deep inside our hearts and minds forever, without ever giving it to anyone else? It is truly moving. Despite the sadness, each character tries to achieve their dreams and take responsibility for their work.

Unexpectedly, there are also some scary scenes—not too many, but enough to make your heart race, especially for viewers who don't usually like violence. Don't worry, though; the violent scenes are made in a way that doesn't look brutal. Those who haven't watched it yet don't need to worry because there isn't much blood or fighting.

On the other hand, when we get romantic scenes, you can't blame the writer, who is very detailed in choosing words that make the audience feel happy along with the characters. Thank you to the director and everyone who supported this drama—especially the humor, which feels very fresh.

Most of all, I want to express my admiration for the writer's depiction of two mothers who desperately want their children to be happy in their own ways, as well as the joy of becoming a mother. On the flip side, there are also two fathers and an expectant father. Love Song in Winter feels complete because the love expressed is not just for a partner, but also for family and friends. That’s what friends are for.

I especially enjoyed and appreciated Wang Tian Chen's acting as Wen Peng.
Thank you for your hard work in making this drama so amazing.
There are many surprises wrapped so neatly in a surprise.
The original soundtrack is so beautiful...
