retry? [ yes ] [ no ]
one of the things that love and a video game have in common is that both require you to decide what to choose from the given options, and this series was able to show that through the concept of a dating sim game.an adorable and simple story that somehow got me hooked! seeing how Ian and Eddy's story progresses, it really feels like i'm playing a dating sim game. i really like how their chemistry with each other works so well.
this also got me thinking that sometimes, love doesn't have to be complicated—we just tend to complicate things because uncertainty is scary. just like how their game works, if you choose an option, you have to face the consequences of that decision instead of running away. (yes, i am looking at you, Ian.)
BUT the other thing that love and a video game have in common is that you're allowed to retry, make better decisions, and successfully move on to the next stage.
as for me, i'm sure i chose the right option by choosing to watch this series!

a fever hard to recover from
i was surprised to find out that beneath Donghee and Hotae's playful and quirky banter in the main series lies such a heavy and layered past between the two of them in this prequel.even though each scene feels warm and dreamy, it's as if i'm witnessing their bittersweet memories. i can only imagine how much they struggled to deal with their intense feelings, which were so unfamiliar to them—and i think that makes their story even more heartbreaking.
all in all, this series felt precious to me and will always have a special place in my heart.

simple, sweet and sincere
i finally gave in to my k-drama cravings—but make it BL 🫶🏻gosh, what a charming start for me! i really enjoyed it and felt a genuine connection with this series—it made me put on my rose-colored glasses and romanticize life once again.
i really enjoyed the simplicity of the storyline—it felt sweet and sincere enough to make me cry multiple times. i also have to point out how admirable their place was, and how interesting their life there felt.
just like wy and tj's love story, this series unintentionally stole my heart!💖
