If it weren't for MDL, I wouldn't have known she had such major haters. I don't know what she has done, but that…
I thought everyone loves her since the characters she portrayed are lovable. Some people hate on actor or actress base on the characters they portrayed .
finally I take a break from cdrama and back to kdrama . Honestly, kdrama is easier to pull me into the story than cdrama . Cdrama nowadays only film the leads on specific angle . it’s so frustrating to look at them .
nothing. they just want to get rid of her Yun family who is a confidant to the emperor. i think their Xie family…
I saw the trailer they are so vicious towards her which I make me wonder what has she done wrong ! She raises them kids and nice to the husband how could they hurt her , I feel like they completely ruin her mentally and physically . I thought she might’ve killed kill their ancestors or sth .
ep 10 , I don’t get why does ling buyi beat the minister Zhu out of his daughter guilt that led by the princess…
Ling Bu Yi and the Emperor are actually quite similar in this regard. Both of them use Shao Shang to eliminate problems that already exist within the political system, while at the same time helping her get the justice she wants.
They each have their own motives, and helping Shao Shang allows them to accomplish those motives as well. So, in a way, Shao Shang becomes a pawn in their political game. They push her in one direction when she is useful to them, then pull her in another direction when their circumstances change.
The interesting part is that Shao Shang is not simply a helpless pawn. She has her own will, her own sense of justice, and her own reasons for fighting back. But the people around her know exactly how to use those qualities for their own purposes.
That’s why I find her position in the story so interesting. She thinks she is fighting for herself and seeking justice, but at the same time, she is being moved around by people who are playing a much bigger political game.
ep 10 , I don’t get why does ling buyi beat the minister Zhu out of his daughter guilt that led by the princess…
From the beginning, I think he uses her. He knows that she can’t stand seeing people get bullied or treated unfairly, and that she will always fight back. He allows her to cause trouble in the palace, and then he steps in to help her. But at the same time, his actions also serve his political motives.
Almost every time he helps her, it ends up causing her even more trouble. It attracts more jealousy and creates more conflicts, and then he steps in to help her again. She is moved by the way he repeatedly protects her, while at the same time, he is moving his own goals forward.
Through her, he is able to punish people he couldn’t punish before. In a way, he uses her as a tool to achieve things that would otherwise be difficult for him to do himself.

I do think he likes her, but it’s something he never really takes into consideration. He never weighs his feelings for her against his plans or lets those feelings influence his decisions. His plan always comes first. You are right that he’s a complex character . I could say he’s also a clear head character. He puts his goal first and do everything to complete it . Nothing could get in between .
