I really hope Between Steps does well when it airs and that Sso finally gets the recognition she deserves. I don’t…
she’s already an established actress but I do want to get even better than now . she’s so lowkey in recent years maybe due to the hate she received from love alarm . However, I just hope she’s okay and happy so she could continue to act in more drama .

ep 10 , I don’t get why does ling buyi beat the minister Zhu out of his daughter guilt that led by the princess…
I’m trying to understand the events here. Ling Buyi uses her own methods to solve the problem. He avenges her, but he also gets himself hurt, which pushes Shaoshang to lower her guard and become more willing to talk to him when they face problems in the future. And the Emperor uses this event to push the couple closer together. Ling Buyi’s actions show Shaoshang that he is willing to bear the consequences for her, while the Emperor uses the situation to make them confront their relationship rather than simply avoiding each other. let’s see if their relationship actually improves

OMG, he just hits all the ministers like, fr?! And all of this just for his girl. Is the screenwriter trying to show how devoted he is to her by doing this? Aren’t they a newly established country? Why would they let a woman’s romantic relationship affect politics so much?

I haven’t finished this drama yet; I’m only on episode 36, but I agree with your opinion. So far, I’ve never…
You are right that not all of Niao Niao’s enemies are political opponents, and I agree that other people often have to clean up her mess. That is probably why some of us become dissatisfied with the FL being portrayed as “smart” on the surface when the consequences of her actions often depend on powerful people around her.

I understand the argument that she was never properly taught or lectured about these things, so some people give her an excuse for not knowing how to handle certain situations. But if that is the case, then I also wonder why she so often seeks approval and favoritism in situations where she herself knows very little about what is actually going on.

However, my point about the Emperor taking advantage of her incidents is actually meant to add some nuance to the idea that Niao Niao is always being “saved” by other people. Yes, other people do help her, and I agree that this can make her look less capable. But I don’t think every person who helps her is simply doing it for Niao Niao’s sake. They often have their own agenda, and by helping her, they can also accomplish something they already want.

The Emperor is a good example. I don’t think he planned to use Niao Niao or deliberately created situations around her. Rather, when one of her incidents happens to create a political opportunity, he can take advantage of the circumstances. If her situation gives him a legitimate reason to deal with someone he otherwise could not easily punish because of family relationships or palace politics, then he can use that opportunity to accomplish his own political goals.

So when the Emperor intervenes, I don’t necessarily see it as simply, “The Emperor has to clean up Niao Niao’s mess again.” He may be helping her, but at the same time, he is also helping himself as Emperor. He can use the incident to draw political lines, deal with certain people, or resolve problems within the palace that already exist.

That is why I think it is fair to say that Niao Niao receives a lot of help while also recognizing that the people helping her are not necessarily doing everything just for her. They can protect her while simultaneously pursuing their own interests and completing their own agenda.

So I still agree with the criticism that Niao Niao’s victories can feel less like entirely her own when other people repeatedly have to deal with the consequences. But I don’t think we should assume that every intervention exists solely to rescue her. Sometimes Niao Niao benefits from their intervention while they are simultaneously pursuing their own interests and agendas. I don’t know whether you get my point or not because I can’t describe it well since I translate it from my native language and I haven’t finished this drama yet my opinions are only for 36 episodes I have watched.

Usually, movies are 1–2 hours long, while dramas are around 40 minutes per episode, so that alone can explain…
A drama need months to get license so how about a movie ? I want to ask about this aspect .

On the other hand, I see it as other people using her to punish those who wronged her because those people deserve to be punished anyway . not just because of how they treated the FL, but also because of their own dirty politics and schemes . On the surface, it looks like they’re on the FL’s side and helping her get revenge, but I feel like they’re actually using her as a reason to punish those people. They can’t directly go after them because of all the political complications, so they use the FL and her grievances as an excuse to deal with them. In a way, it’s like killing two birds with one stone: they get to help the FL while also taking care of their own political agenda.

I'm rewatching this now, and my eyes have FULLY opened. Shaoshang is such a huge liability. She only ever cares…
I haven’t finished this drama yet; I’m only on episode 36, but I agree with your opinion. So far, I’ve never been satisfied with the FL’s revenge against those who wronged her. It’s not that they don’t deserve it, but rather that her actions only create more problems for her in the future. She keeps causing trouble for people who are more powerful than her, even though she knows she can’t stand against them. She seems to rely on the emperor and empress being on her side and willing to protect her. Without their support, she would have to face the consequences of her revenge, which she never seems to think through beforehand.
No wonder I can’t enjoy this show as much as I want to, because people keep convincing me that the FL’s revenge is so satisfying . I wonder what will happen next I don’t want to see the recycling of the same stuff again and again .

I just finished the first 27 episodes (Part 1), and this is genuinely the first drama where I have second lead…
it’s literally force because ml is using the fl from the start . This is how I see it . I haven’t finished the drama yet ( on ep 36 ) . I mean if he really likes her he won’t marry her because he could die anytime and her goals aren’t align with his lifestyle and he knows it .

Title My Journey to You Spoiler
is it worth watching, does this have a happy ending or a sad ending. should I watch this or not
For me this is one of the best cdrama wuxia. I’ve ever watched . The ending is perfect for this show . it’s not a happy ending fairy tale . It could be so slow for some audiences and the plot mostly reveals later . It keeps me invested from the start to finish to see what will happen next and the bonus point is this drama isn’t just about main characters . The characters that relate to the plot also have their own storyline and motive not totally npc .
