K-Drama
Solid drama!
I've rewatched this series at least 4 times now. I really like the slice of life aspect, seeing some parts of the book and publishing industry was interesting. The acting and chemistry are above average. I appreciate the maturity in some of the themes. Very relatable in some ways even though they are not parallel to my own experience.Only gripe about this show is Park Gyu-Young. Her acting was over the top ridiculous, really irritated me.

Comfort watch
Drama feels like a hot cocoa and a blanket on a snowy day. Just pure comfort. Kim Hye Yoon's acting was superb. The leads' chemistry felt real and natural. I love the OST... couldn't believe at first that Byeon Woo Seok sang almost half of the OST. There was no moment of boredom. This series felt like a journey. The ending was satisfying. Was this review helpful to you?
Story built on weak scaffold, lacking in chemistry.
I went in with extremely high expectations because of the hype. I really like IU because she always delivers. I would say that the production seemed grand but there were some questionable details that were somehow missed like IU's fake nails 😫 Byeon Woo Seok was just okay, a little on the stoic and wooden side... I felt like Byeon Woo Seok had better chemistry with Gong Seung-Yeon. IU's acting here felt force. She shines in melodramas, imo.Was this review helpful to you?
