they need to show rather strong female lead and song lan acting weak infront of her to hide his malicious intent for gaining her support to build his empire ...so she may never give herself to him but this maybe until he things she has not discovered his nature afterwards who knows , he starts acting out of jealousy

one thing I don't get why zhang ling he is choosing female leads who already have fiance or married
1) POJ she had ex fiance
2) overdo - his brother is fiance
3) my best things - trauma of ex bf
4) road to glory - His lover marries another emperor though that was a disguise and no infidelity there
5) revenge - his brother is finally wife ( this is the most exceeded level no fiance no ex direct wife here...hope so no infidelity here also like road to glory)

i think the empress family is powerful and she doesn't love the emperor so maybe before marrying she may say she would not sleep rather help him building the empire .. emperor character acting as timid infront of her to make her unsuspicious of all the dirty things he has done..so he will not force himself on her coz he needs her family support..
so no bed scenes or kiss sceneswill be there initially with song lan but after he finds her acting closely with ye tinnguan , he will become jealous and start forcing kisses on her ( maybe 1-2 scene) ....ye tinnguan will become emperor and empress has to be virgin so that he can mary her...so she will not lose virginitt with song lan... chinese people will not like if they show such a female character so she will be virgin and maybe kiss scenes will be none ( or maybe forced one)

his acting was very impressive tbh in that scene

then it's fine..overdo heavily disappointed...till now lament seems me better than that..in overdo there was no romance onky revenge .... here we are getting too possessive one i like it

i hope so they tone down jiang xu Ting character...in novel he is very abusive towards pinguan until chang xuan saves her

agree..i think he is carrying the drama single Handedly...FL doesn't impressed me much...cheng with bailu in the first jasmine was the best match

i heard him in press conference he said if your partner has brief moment of feelings for someone and comes back to you ...then you should get married...but he said they should never cross the line... boy followed his real life character in yhe drama nevrr crossed the line...but by his beliefs he should not accept back mido if what he says in the press

I only knew about cheating before...this drama taught me about physical cheating vs emotional cheating...first time i heard the world emotional cheating through this drama 😭 how to know if someone is emotionally cheating with someone or just seeing other as a friend or just admiring her...you can not blame someone if he never confessed his love to that person that he is cheating....very debatable topic..but clear cut scenario is physical cheating coz def u love the person here or you are full of lust and desire for him...but people were attacking right left center to ML on social media while sympathy with FL...is this not hypocrisy?

tae sung nature soon will be revealed when he will be jealous of namgong mido relationship in upcoming episodes..it has been an easy journey for him till now since mido was being very vulnerable to him.... tae sung obsession will soon be revealed then you will say FL deserves better

but how can o e have suxx with a friend for 10 years if it wasn't love...it means they both were psychos...it doesn't make sense

but everywhere in press or in articles...it is said brief moment of feelings for other partners...maybe they fooled everyone for trapping the audience by doing such marketing

not it has become like this in recent times it's wasn't always maybe.. otherwise why synopsis said about words like love fading into.. as they said in press too ..you will not feel them like romantic couple in starting episodes..so you are judging based on that...and if we think based on your theory then this drama will fail to convey its message

.. don't mistake them as siblings or friend....no that's why audience are confused with this drama and character...they loved each other and they had romance and were not siblings for 10 years ...people are mistaking...if you read the synopsis of this series..their love has lost sparks and excitement now... that's why this drama is buzzing coz people still don't understand their characters coz characters are themselves being confused by the writers
