Genius Plot, Flawless Twists, and the Breathtaking Brilliance of Xi Ge's Li Si

Shadow Punisher is an absolute masterpiece of a thriller. The plot is incredibly genius because it connects various dark, supernatural folklore cases into one giant imperial political conspiracy. The pacing keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the layered plot twists constantly shatter all your theories.
However, the true soul of this drama is Xi Ge (Luo Yunxi)’s phenomenal performance as Li Si (Young Master Qingyang). Li Si is a brilliantly complex, morally grey character. On the outside, he is the ultimate elegant and high-IQ scholar who uses his unmatched intellect and his iconic 'Liang Tian Chi' to solve impossible mysteries. But on the inside, Xi Ge (Luo Yunxi) portrays a deeply calculative and sharp mastermind who has infiltrated the bureau for his own secret mission of personal vengeance. He captures this internal conflict perfectly through his flawless micro-expressions, making Li Si one of the most compelling main leads in C-drama history. A well-deserved 10/10 for this incredible show streaming on iQIYI!"
