General's Lady holds a special place as a fun, highly nostalgic watch—especially for anyone discovering C-dramas on YouTube! It delivers plenty of cute, fluffy moments, and the adorable ending with its sweet twist leaves you with a warm feeling.
However, looking back, the execution has its fair share of frustrating flaws. The plot often relies heavily on unnecessary miscommunications that drag the story down. It frequently feels a bit too male-centric, where the female lead is often proven wrong even when she was right in the first place. While her antics can be charming and cute at times, they occasionally cross into repetitive and boring territory.
Overall, it's a solid, lighthearted one-time watch that hits the spot if you're looking for something sweet and comforting, but structural writing issues prevent it from being a classic.
