He would have waited outside the door then, till she comes out, and she would have never be able to come out alone.
Hahaha yes! Honestly, the writers should give us a call for episode 10.5 at this rate. 💀

Title The Lament of Autumn Spoiler
We might have been robbed of one of the most intense, high-stakes sequences: Episode 10.

🚪 Tension Outside the Locked Door
The moment Xueting hears that heavy thud of Pingjun being pinned against the wall, his investigator instincts override everything. He stops in his tracks.
The Suspicion: He turns back, grips the doorknob, and tries to turn it, only to find it locked from the inside.
The Call-Out: He knocks firmly and calls out Pingjun's name again, his voice tight with growing panic. Inside, Changxuan is still pinning her, his hand clamped tightly over her mouth. Changxuan is staring down at her with a mix of savage satisfaction and desperation, daring her to make another sound.
The Cover-Up: Realizing she has to de-escalate the situation before Xueting forces the door open, Pingjun manages to twist slightly. In a strained, breathless voice, she calls out through the door, lying that she accidentally knocked over a chair while changing her dress and needs a few more minutes alone.
