The Best Drama of the Year! (For Me Anyway)

I'd been in a bit of a K-drama slump for a while, but this drama completely brought back my love for them.

The acting and chemistry between the two leads were phenomenal. I watched this back a few months ago when it was being released weekly and It's been such a long time since I've been this excited for new episodes every week. I was so sad when it ended! The OST was amazing as well and made the whole experience even better.

I can understand why some people felt certain parts of the story were rushed or overlooked, and there were definitely a few plot holes. But honestly, the two leads were so good that I was able to look past those flaws. I might be a little biased because of how much I loved them! I will be definitely following their next projects as this was the first time I've watched them in anything.

I've already rewatched their scenes multiple times too, which says a lot about how much I enjoyed this drama as I don't do that often. It'll be really hard for another drama to top this one for me this year as it's now in my top of all time!

Not Bad, But I Expected More

I think everyone did the best they could with the script they were given. The drama had a promising start, but unfortunately, the story fell flat for me quite quickly, which was a shame because I felt it had a lot of potential.

That being said, the OST was lovely and definitely one of its redeeming qualities. There were also some genuinely funny moments that made me laugh, so it wasn't without its charm.

Overall, while there were things I enjoyed, the story just didn't quite deliver on its initial promise. It's not one of the best dramas of 2026 for me, but I can still appreciate the effort that went into it.

A Promising Start That Quickly Lost Its Charm

This drama had a really promising start, and I was genuinely excited to see how the romance between the two leads would develop. Unfortunately, that excitement didn't last very long.

What started off as an enjoyable watch slowly turned into something that felt like a chore to get through. I found myself having to force myself to finish it, which was such a shame, especially since the ML is one of my favourites.

I also felt there were far too many sleepwalking scenes. I understand they were trying to emphasise the FL's struggles with her insomnia but after a while, it became repetitive and unnecessary. I feel like that time could have been better spent developing the story or the relationship between the leads.

Overall, it's a pretty forgettable drama for me. I really wish I had more positive things to say, especially given how much I enjoyed the beginning, but unfortunately, it just didn't live up to its potential.

Just as Amazing the Third Time Around!

I wanted to leave a review to show my appreciation for this wonderful drama because it genuinely deserves it!

I first watched in 2021 when it initially aired and absolutely loved it. Fast forward two years, and I decided to give it another watch. I rarely rewatch K-dramas, but this one reminded me exactly why I fell in love with it in the first place. I then watched it again this week and it's still hard to outdo this one for me.

The writing is incredibly well done, and the chemistry between the two leads is absolutely amazing. Their interactions had me smiling and laughing so much, even on my second watch! What I especially loved was how effortlessly the romance developed. Nothing felt overly complicated or unnecessarily dragged out, and the storyline was executed so naturally.

This drama is such a great example of what a well-written romance should look like. It manages to be heartwarming, entertaining and memorable without trying too hard. The lovely OST was another bonus and complemented the story beautifully.

Rewatching it has only made me appreciate it even more, and I can confidently say it ranks very highly on my list of favourite K-dramas. It's easily one of the best romances I've watched, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering giving it a go!
