I am loving everything about this series! Often there are things to pick apart, things that we don't like, poor acting directing writing... This is just a gem! Can't wait for the next episode

I was trying to figure out why the scenes seem so bare of human touch, and it occurred to me that they are being controlled (designed, blocked, partially directed) by AI... and I am thinking that AI was introduced as a controlling factor after the very different set rehearsals from 7 months ago that I watched on YouTube. Those had a very (messy, if you will) human feel to them, but the scenes in the published series have a feel as if they are created by an entity that has no earthly idea what it feels like to be human and interact in a normal environment with other humans. the actors in many of the scenes seem like more like mannequins placed in a set instead of people. JMHO

there was a comment somewhere I think episode seven or eight, or even perhaps I read it in the novel where he has bad childhood memories of their mansion... so it's more than just knowledge of the powerful family
