Caught up on all epiosdes, honestly I get WSs hesitation, He's caught between a rock & a hard place and I love how this drama isn't brushing over that like it's nothing
I know I'll never even be in the same space with anyone from a family that massacred my loved ones, so imagine how hard it is for him constantly bearing the burden of guilt everytime his feelings towards her grow deeper, I hope he finds away to let go and let love β₯οΈ
Also can I mention I love the progression of the plot so far, they're just not stuck plotting with no growth, or him being mad the entire time, nope they had the time to plot, be wary, gradually adapt, drawing closer with the trip, now hesitation, after which I'm sure we'll be back to some more plotting before the storm finally settles. This has made the show addictive, engaging to the point that you have to rewatch as opposed to 2x speed or even dropping due to midway boredom
I love everything about this show, my girl MM is one of the top 3 FLs EVER and WS is smoldering hot in those long flowing black robes ππ₯°
It's fresh seeing an FL that also has feelings, tired of "smart & strong" FLs that are oblivious to love, have no feelings whatsoever and will have to be told what love is by practically everyone else but their own brain π
MM isn't perfect, she gets scared, she fails but gets back up, she's witty but also makes mistakes, she wants the survival of her clan but also wants the good of the Wei people, such a genuinely refreshing character.
Damn you'd think MM said something suggestive the way WS turned bright red and shy like a puppy in love when he heard Fujun π Gotta give it him, LYN nailed that expression, he didn't have to say anything but you could literally see the emotions run all over his face. I love this couple π€
On episode 14 and WSs mum is frustratingly naive, she has zero sense or tact, it's a wonder she survived this long in the Wei family, she has no interest in her son's well-being and isn't even concerned if divulging such sensitive secrets to an outsider she hasn't seen in years might be risky not only to her son but the entire nation?
I love that even though Xiao Qiao is the smartest character in the story, she's so humble and full of grace. She…
You perfectly captured all of Manman's outstanding character traits. She's strong in her femininity but also not being stupidly hot headed and needing saving every 10 minutes, not these woke scripts that make "strong women" so self absorbed, brash and ready to put down her husband at every turn, even in her anger she never speaks ill of him to her subordinates, ugh it's refreshing π. She's so beautiful to watch
If only citizens of Wei country could see their high & mighty lord being cursed out by his tiny wife and him running for dear life πββοΈπββοΈπππ
