I'm so happy I didn't drop this after E2, first 2 episodes were boring and I made up my mind to drop this when I saw everyone commenting on how good 3 & 4 were, decided to give this a last chance and I was not disappointed. I think episodes 3&4 are the best so far, I laughed so hard at 4 🤣🤣🤣 and now looking forward to the rest. Hope this holds up this good till the end
Haven't been this blown away by a drama in a while, this was so much fun binge watching, absolute10/10. This is up there with Weak Hero Class for me. I desperately love shows like these, too bad there aren't many of them around
How DARE they tamper with the ratings AGAIN?!!? Been pissed enough that it was unfairly dropped from 9.0 to 8.9 but 8.8 is diabolical, this should be a 9.5 wtf??
Nothing in this genre is touching The Double and I mean NOTHING in this entire 2024, everything else is overhyped
I avoided this comment section like a plague cause I didn't want to get spoiled on the ending, just finished and I don't have the right words yet to describe the masterpiece this drama is.
I hurt all over, but I'm happy I experienced FOF, one of the very few 10/10 dramas of this year for me
The cast were amazing, the OSTs are pure art, you just know alot of work was put into every single one

As the year wraps up soon, I want to thank God, 2024 and Youku for bringing me the masterpiece called The Double, as I sit playing my fave OSTs and contemplating my millionth rewatch 🤕, I'm compelled to write a few things The Double taught me
1. No matter how unhinged, evil and outrightly vile a person could be, with the right OSTs and backstory there'd be people who support and stand by them ( " Aww Princess Wanning is so pitiful too" "Shen Yu Rong still loves FangFei, he was just forced to kill her😭")
2. Behind every piece-of-shit lover like SYR there'd be a smoking hot alpha king like Duke Su to sweep you off your feet 😍, don't give up on love yet! Lol
3. If you've tried and failed to kill your wife like the spineless coward you are, well keep it moving when she re-surfaces, don't have the guts to look tortured or even get jealous when she moves on to said smoking hot alpha king, it's common sense ugh 🙄
This is one hell of a busy month so many dramas to watch😩, but I caught up overnight on the episodes, this is outrageously funny, Esther is super cute 🤗 I nearly died laughing in Episode 2 😂, LY & MS fighting for MYs attention was a riot.
This is the perfect fun watch to accompany the more emotionally charged TSOPG
Lu Si is an absolute goddess in this series she never disappoints and LYN is as hot as always, perfectly cast as the big bad ML. The first episode hooked me completely, looking forward to the rest
This drama opened my eyes to Neo Hou's talent, loved him in IAN but this is the first drama with him as ML that I'm eating up like an addict (I haven't liked any of his other dramas so far, definitely not for lack of trying )
Also I wasn't aware of Chen Du Ling's game because she's got this aura that I never noticed before plus sizzling chemistry with Neo, I didn't even think that was possible but damn I love their banter and flirting, it's so wholesome
The entire cast is so well put together, I love the dynamics of their motley crew and just spent hours watching the bts scenes especially the dance at the end credits (if you haven't please watch Cheng Lei practice, I nearly died laughing 😂)
I am enjoying this drama way too much for my own good
Also who's Uncle? Never revealing his face makes me believe we might be shocked who he turns out to be
