More Than Just an Elite School Drama

What I liked about it is how the story also explores social inequality, power, privilege, and how someone's status can affect the way they are treated. The school may look glamorous from the outside, but underneath all the wealth and luxury, there are plenty of secrets, manipulation, bullying, and complicated relationships between people from completely different social backgrounds.

The story is interesting because money and social status are constantly used as a form of power. Some characters believe that having more money, connections, or influence means they can control other people and get away with almost anything. I liked how the drama shows that being wealthy doesn't automatically make someone better or more valuable than everyone else. Money and position don't determine a person's worth. That's probably one of the messages I appreciated the most.

I also enjoyed seeing the characters become more willing to stand up for themselves. Being surrounded by people with more power can make you feel like you have no choice but to stay quiet, but the drama shows the importance of defending yourself even when you're facing someone with more influence or authority. That part made the story feel more meaningful than just another rich-kids-at-school drama.

However, I wouldn't say the drama is perfect. Some conflicts feel repetitive, and there are moments when the story relies heavily on secrets, manipulation, and characters hiding information from each other. Sometimes I wanted the characters to simply communicate instead of creating another misunderstanding. 😭 There are also moments where the pacing feels uneven, especially when the story spends too much time building certain conflicts before finally revealing what is actually happening.

The characters are definitely one of the reasons the drama remains interesting. They aren't all simply good or bad; many of them have their own motivations, insecurities, and reasons for acting the way they do. The rivalry and tension between the characters also keep the story entertaining, especially when their relationships and alliances begin to change.

Overall, Bitch X Rich is an entertaining school drama with more substance than I initially expected. It isn't only about rich students, luxury, popularity, or school drama. It also talks about social inequality, power, privilege, and the way people can be treated differently because of their background. I especially liked the message that money and status don't determine someone's value, and that you should still have the courage to stand up for yourself even when you're dealing with people who have more power than you.

EXCITING! The drama has its flaws, especially with some repetitive conflicts and pacing issues, but the combination of mystery, rivalry, social issues, and school politics kept me interested until the end.

Overall: 8/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
