Reminds me of You're Beautiful... No hate here. Watch - if you like light, semi-sad in some parts, ROMCOM. It made me laugh out loud... sometimes broke my heart but nothing too gut wrenching... I enjoyed it.
I do not understand the high rating (I watched it because of that). 1) flow of story was too slow 2) too many sub plots 3) it was very obvious she’s a girl - I mean, she was petite and all and that in itself will make her not blend in 4) don’t understand all the killings and how they got away with it 5) let’s say the drama is in HD (clear) but all some of the acting and timing was just so unnatural, it was a waste of time for me. So yeah I have gripes. Chinese dramas tend to drag their stories - I just want to know what happen to the main couple but they add so much plot into it that they actually kill the story/momentum.
Sorry not for me, couldn’t even get pass the first episode. And usually when Chinese dramas are this long, I tend to fast forward it. They seem to put a lot of sub plots that I am not interested in.
I am hesitant, watched the first episode and everything that can go wrong with a person's life pretty much happened... so my guess is that, this is a drama to watch how "to right the wrongs" in her life....
It was bearable - the only way to watch this is to Fast Forward a lot. I just wanted to know the ending - I did not care about the side plots. Just watch another drama, the plot is too childish and shallow...
Miss Truth drama brought me here, Toby Lee... I rated it 8, it would have higher if only it wasn't sad (biased here, I want happy emotions) but it was surprisingly beautiful. The actors they selected was on point on the role/character.
SYJ's acting is better here or maybe this character showed off her acting skills compared to Lawless Lawyer. I love how the characters evolved as you watch the drama. There is no shallow love relationship here but real and raw. It is not too dark but will reveal that everyone is broken or hurting in some way or another.
I have been duped to watching this expecting to see the main leads love develop but for me the story is more on how they other couple big finally broke up. It’s a 5.5 for me. What a sham.
I tried but it is just too long (watched up to ep 19), it has so many fillers —this is with my fast forwarding skills applied, so sorry I think it is a 5 for me. I am dropping it.
Over all it is an 8 for me. The acting was good. I mean you can feel their angst. BUT I wasn't convinced that they love each other. I guess lack of chemistry but good acting? Maybe they did not really like each other but are being professional with their work.... It was at times confusing, I just did not bother really understanding it because I understood the flow... So there you have it, the negative comments for me, were really extreme. It wasn't that bad... Sooo see for yourself.
I take back my words, and apologize... I judged the drama too early (due to the fact that I let the negative comments muddle my judgement as I started the drama)... I actually am enjoying it and I am in episode 14. What is annoying is the product placements -- it wasn't really part of the drama but what can you do if they are paying for it... Just wish it was done tastefully and not so obvious because it cheapens the drama. Why the extreme hate? I don't know... I have seen worse dramas. I mean a rating of 5 or even 1? The acting was superb and yes flaws in the story but a 5 and a 1 - that's for HEIRS (shallow story but had major actors/actresses). But this one kept me entertained and the part when Lee MIn Ho was just saving her was my favorite part.
I am afraid to even invest time on this, I am in episode 2. After reading the comments, I am sort of leery to watch further. Is this going to be like HEIRS - all star drama but no substance? Heirs was just a display of nice looking people with a stupid plot. I think I will drop this... I think Lee Min Ho has too much commercialism in his dramas (maybe it pays more) but no depth... Thanks for the heads-up.
After watching up to episode 6, I decided to drop it. I could only take so much “stupidity “ and I cannot bear to watch anymore. Meaning I have lost my patience-it just gets on my nerves the more I watch.
Episode 1 was awesome, I have never seen first episode this nice. I would recommend watching it, it wasn't too long... There was some slow moments but not enough to drop it because it it just 12 episodes! Gave me a glimpse of what could happen in the future. Pretty concerning that we can be monitored anywhere we go with facial recognition.
I think this is overrated... after watching up to episode 7 —bottom line — it is a revenge drama, rich vs poor, spoiled vs hardworking, tough vs soft... the story is getting slow for me. And maybe it is because I am not so fond of revenge dramas... I mean it is always like a table tennis match - the ball is on the other side then it goes to the other side and so on. I can only watch so much back and forth revenge plots, it is tiring for me.
