Her face does not belong to her, she looks like some other k drama star (I don't know what her name is) - they probably had the same plastic surgeon, if she continues with her evolution - she might end up looking like Michael Jackson - the nose looks so artificial.
THIS WAS NOT SO BAD. HEIRS was worse (they just put together popular actors and made the usual plot rich vs poor) Yes it focused on NJH physical features but it was part of his character (narcissistic). Yes there is some plot holes and dragging moments but it was not that bad... 4 is a little bit too harsh, why the hate?! I don't know... it is a 6-7 for me.
This is almost the same as Revenge tv show in the US. I just can't get over her blank expressionless face, Lee Yo Won - its just too straight face for me (like 49 days). It is watchable but I am not in a hurry to finish it.
I started watching this but the first episode did not convince me for the following reasons: 1) acting was bad, borderline cheesy (including Rain, - like when he was getting upset in the meeting... i know he is popular - sorry no hate here please) 2) i know in dramas everything is possible - but the lead girl's transformation was just too overboard, from the reason how it happen and the totality of it in 3 months time only?! 3) it seems to me that Rain took this project to expand his horizon with neighboring countries but the plot and acting was meh. Reminds me of HEIRS that it was just a sham. They put together popular actors in the drama having no plot depth ONLY TO SELL THE ARTIST! Can Rain just stick to where he is good at? The girls acting was also like, you call that acting?
Nooooh! I started watching and I am hooked! I have to stop and let all the episodes finish first.... I don't like waiting for the next episodes... JCW is just so eye candy with good acting skills.
I really tried to finish it (80 episodes with fast forwarding) but after awhile it was so redundant. So I went on ahead and skipped it and went to the last 2 episodes. So I am glad I did that so I can just have a closure. The settings were all in different rooms and really became repetitive. Never again will I try to watch more than 30 episodes. It is just so hard. So if you just have allot of time and cannot find a drama to watch go on right ahead. The antagonist characters will just get to you and you would want to just wring their necks for their persistence.
I wanted to really like it like most people (I would give this a 7), I just felt that 24 episodes were just too long, when I reached 15, 16, 17 - it was beginning to be a chore to watch because I just wanted to find out how they were gonna wrap it up. It was fun to watch but it was on the threshold for me of getting fed up with the couple...
I avoided this drama because of Lee Min Ho's drama "The Heirs" which was completely dumb, it left a bad taste in my mouth. But I was wrong, this drama had more depth in the plot. So yes, I am recommending the this drama. The supporting characters added flavor to the drama and made this very entertaining. On the side note, it was a tad long... I agree with the others that 16 episodes would have sufficed.
What a great comeback to Dramaland for Gong Yoo. It was spectacular... The cinematography was breath taking... You almost want to stop and don't watch the next episode to just savor what you just watched and yet you want to watch the next episode to see what happen next...
I am very impressed with the first episode... it captured allot of time but still maintained the coherence of the plot... And so here goes, I am going to continue watching it. Looking forward to it....
It is a yes for me... I enjoyed it and I haven't watched a drama for long while that I want to re-watch and this one is just the one! The couple was just natural, not those awkward stiff kisses or hugs...
Well, this hit the spot for me. Romcom, cuteness and just light. Happy Drama Camper here. (side note: just watched Sweet Stranger To Me and cannot help but compare. BUT just a side note: this drama was age appropriate cuteness was lovely to watch and SSTM the couple was like 25-30 years old acting like cute or like a young couple, left a bad taste to my mouth, plus oh I don't want to rant - the plot was just one moment gangster and then cutesy.
Nam Joo Huk nailed this drama. He wasn't like other actors who can't act funny and light-hearted. I became a fan. This drama, if ending does not fail me, will be one of my favorites!
