Not sure why but she could have been rocking back and forth in the bathroom and it would have seemed the same - somehow robotic and off.

Going through the motions is one thing, but it doesn't sell if it isn't convincing enough.

I didn't know Kim Nam Joo was in her 50s until about an hour or so ago.

Dont really know her as a Veteran actor and have only seen her in one thing - this drama.

So, no it isn't about age...

Have to say I was astute when I said she looked 50 at times as had no idea she really was in her 50s.

I can and have.

But it doesn't mean it can't change if the drama does something to make me feel different about it. Especially her.

Will re-watch those first two episodes then watch more to see if it is something Id continue or not.

So far it isn't original with the theme and the FL falls a bit flat with her character - for me.

My Country - The New Age is brilliant even My Dearest with the second one not being what Id usually choose to watch.

Mouse, Strangers From Hell, Tunnel, One Ordinary Day, King Of Pigs, The Glory, The Good Bad Mother (not just limited to them) ALL showcase exceptional acting.

This one hasn't scratched that itch for me yet, but I will give it a chance like I said .

I think I understood the drama - just her acting fell flat for me in parts.

Will re-watch it and see if I still feel the same.

Maybe because I have watched a number of brilliant ones over the past few weeks it just isn't hitting the right chords for me.

Her character:

As someone in the Psychology field why didn't she reach out to a grief counsellor for herself to deal with the loss rather than take a vengeful vigilante stance.

Made no sense at all especially with that type of professional background, training and experience.

For her to have published books also implied expertise.

That also doesn't sit right with me.

I think he is trying to secure both their futures in the family company, but he should stay out of his brother's affairs and not meddle too much because it may backfire.

Actually, it is is right now as she has accepted the marriage proposal he is dead set against.

Cant wait for the next two episodes...

Her acting falls flat for me.

Will re-watch it, but doubt my mind will change as she unfortunately doesn't tick the right boxes for me with the character she is trying to portray.

Sometimes as a mother when playing with her son in different scenes that was fine, but the funeral, overreacting when looking for him and other scenes - just didn't sell for me.

If she stopped caring about herself she would have let her appearance go and likely become an alcoholic.

I was under the impression of a positive healing drama.

Another child to love not to replace her son.

The thing is - in episode one she stated that her son was a miracle baby - it took her years to get pregnant so having another child mightn't be possible.

Did you catch that scene in the hospital when she was giving birth?

Am sure she said he was a *miracle baby" and more or less that a number of attempts to conceive had been made over some years.

I actually like it even though it is sinister.

I thought that she helps others and heals by doing that, but also thought maybe she would have a second child to support the healing process.

I thought this drama was about her going on to help others due to her own grief and loss. All about healing.

Complex situation, but it did cross my mind about her getting pregnant again to deal with the grief only I wasn't sure if it would be her husband or someone else.

The killer would indeed make it more interesting.

Make out is when two people are active intimately like kissing and more whereas make up is when they repair what is wrong or try to fix it.
