Her acting falls flat for me.Will re-watch it, but doubt my mind will change as she unfortunately doesn't tick…
Valid point - I didn't care what happened to her or any of them by the end of it.
I had a bit of hope for this around episode 5-6 and on and then by about ep 8 I started losing major interest in it to the point of no return really. But I still persevered anyhow.
Something in her acting is so superficial and not always believable at times.
But as a drama this wasn't all that - I would have preferred to be kept guessing right until the end.

The FL in The Glory should have been the FL in Wonderful World.
This isn't a masterpiece if it goes down the road of a broken marriage or an extra marital affair nor hooking up with a victim - like a victim of a house fire.
Nothing unique or original in that whatsoever and has been done before.
Let's see if there is a twist or not.
Her rocking back and forth could have been her doing the same thing in a bathroom - robotic and off.
Not sure why everyone has to like her just because some think she is a good actor according to them.
Maybe this will change for me - who knows.
I just re-watched episode one and she still falls flat as an actor for me.
Am glad others see her in a different light as that is what makes the world go around.
We don't all have to like the same person nor force others to try if they aren't seeing what the other is seeing.
I can and have. But it doesn't mean it can't change if the drama does something to make me feel different about…
Just looked and so far there are 7 reviews on here and 2 (including mine) seem to think her acting falls flat.
Still 12 episodes to go.
I will probably stop watching this drama if it becomes too predictable like the breakdown of her marriage and either having an extra marital affair or starting something with someone that is obviously a victim himself - for example, a house fire survivor.
I watch far too many C and K Dramas for my own good sometimes.
They really had no idea.
It was all about experimentation - finding out before birth just how high the probabilities were of that foetus being born a Psychopath through tests.
Empathetic? Am sure that was only because of what happened to his brain .

Definitely not a masterpiece by a long shot!
Also, she could have easily sought out professional counseling for herself yet didn't.
Does she by chance use Botox?
Never heard of her and this was my first time seeing her.
I re-watched episode one and no change for me where she is concerned.
Will wait for further episodes so I may change my rating if she blows me away somehow...never know.
Like Yahooing in the car like a 5 year old.
Am sure in some countries one would be arrested for that kind of behaviour.
And she is a Psychology professor?
Very irresponsible, but also it didn't come across as being natural.
She is a bit over the top in parts, okay in others and falls flat where it should be memorable.
Mostly I don't connect with her character at all and therefore as an actor she isn't doing something right.
What isn't realistic is the character's vigilante conduct especially as a Professor of Psychology and therefore a specialist in that field.
Think I have been spoiled by some superb actors out there in Korea and China - no denying it. :-)

Voice Of A Murderer.
Looking at her dramas - none have been recommended to me.
Might give one a shot...
So, I haven't seen any of her previous works.
But I will take a look as long as the ratings are over 8.
I don't get into female actors too much, but there are indeed some good ones.
Nam Joo isn't one of them.
Might look at one of her earlier works..
It would be great if there were more actually.
I would like to see more of what North Korea is like as long as it is a true depiction of it.
Whether historical or modern day - movies or dramas.

I didn't shed a single tear at the funeral and with it being a child that for me is usually quite sad.
There has been no real build up for me to be so invested or emotionally impacted.
So, something hasn't been done right or developed enough.
