I have so much in my mind: 1- On an earlier episode it was hinted that Mayor Shin's son had an evil spirit that hasn't awaken yet but so far it feels like they forgot about it (?) 2- They've been delaying the final fight for so many weeks now that it's frustrating, most subplots of ep 14 were unnecessary and it felt like they were there just to get to the same cliffhanger at the end! If they don't get rid of that evil spirit by the end of ep 15 I'll be so frustrated! 3- Hana's trauma should've been solved many episodes ago, they keep bringing it, then not mentioning it for many episodes and then bringing it again. It made me forget about it, then I remember again and it doesn't have the same impact. 4- Son mun summoned a good spirit on ep 12 when he wasn't a Counter I think but Wi Gen hasn't talked about it yet and she noticed, so I think that's weird 5- Please let's introduce other villains and not just depend on the same one again, I'm getting bored.
Those are my general complaints so far but it's still 9/10 drama for me.w
I actually disagree, this year Japan has done a couple of good dramas like: Watashitachiwa wa Douka Shiteiru,…
Yes, I think the pandemic also affected many productions that were pushed to 2021, and in general Japanese romcom clichés are always going to be there, but Watashitachiwa wa Douka Shiteiru, and Neechan no koibito are my favorite female characters this year and obviously, Alice in Borderland is way too good.

The drama follows the unconventional sexual preferences/ relationships of people working in a CG video production company, besides following the story of the FL and her five sexual partners you'll also see the POV of other type of characters like a girl who's loveless and is not interested in sexual relationships, the guy who is stuck in his first love, the dude who also has many partners, another one who falls in love with a prostitute and the prostitute herself, It was just interesting to see each POV and more into those characters lifestyles and decisions. If you don't feel comfortable with the topic of skinship and sex I consider you should skip it but otherwise the FL is different and the story of those characters is not done many times in Asian dramas
Being a female lead is hard. Some people think if she is not kicking ass, know martial art, being cold and can…
Yes, you’re totally right, thank you for speaking everything that I couldn’t put into words. Being a strong female doesn’t necessarily means you hate all the advantages of guys or you’re cold/baddass, being confident and good at your job like her is also pretty cool. I wonder why some people are so demanding of female characters, specially when someone being like that is pretty unlikely.
Many people start watching this drama with high expectations or the wrong idea, so as a warning: if you want to watch a light drama of two people quite different falling in love under the circumstances of getting married first for different reasons then this is for you. The story is not complicated, there’s some mystery involving our ML to keep the momentum but is purely a simple love story, you’ll enjoy it if you just finished a long history Chinese drama or just want to binge watch something quick with two actors who have a lot of chemistry, nothing else and nothing more than that.

Also, the FL is not dump and I didn’t find her annoying, she’s working as an accountant in what it seems an important company, her co-workers and juniors respect her for her dedication, is also really good at managing her finances and is smart, quite childish when it comes to romance, but acts cute because she likes it and I find that cool of her for being confident and many times taking the first step in the relationship. Just wanted to let that out there because I read many comments saying otherwise and I couldn’t disagree more.
This drama is a symbol to an era, the worse era for Jdrama ever had, since 2019 there is a fall, down the hill,…
I actually disagree, this year Japan has done a couple of good dramas like: Watashitachiwa wa Douka Shiteiru, Love last forever, Raise de wa Shaite shimasu, Neechan no koibito, and MIU 404 are my personal favorites and all the females in those stories are different and strong in their own way so I recommend it if you haven’t had the chance to watch it. Many people differ with love last forever but I personally think our heroine is an optimistic and thinker so I find that really strong in her since she always finds the good in people.
I agree with your review a lot, thank you for putting all my feelings here lol It's a shame how things developed in the second half, I was enjoying it so much at the beginning :(
I especially feel that Jung ha character was used as emotional support for the main lead and Hae Hyo, she was always there to be their inspiration, support, emotional refugee, and play the part in a love triangle but they didn't ever bother to show her growth as a character or how she made it to be a CEO. such a shame
There was A LOT of sexual tension between Momoe and Matsuda, I'm pretty disappointed they didn't end up together…
Totally agree, I hope there’s a second season where they can explore more in deep the characters development and give a proper ending to the couples storyline. When they started to talk about marriage and their family pressure to settle down with a family and all, plus Matsuda leaving the company could give a chance to Momoe x Matsuda ship from happening, and I though we were going somewhere but at the end the writer took all of that away from us lol
