truly well done jdrama. it had so many funny and light moments and then such sad and dark ones. A great mix and an entertaining set of unique characters. It should have gotten more episodes thought to truly deepen each characters backstory but maybe that will be done in the future :) 8/10
is this drama gonna be the next SKY Castle or more like Graceful Friends -_-I'll trust the Director of East of…
Graceful Friends was good too though. It just spoke to a different viewer group But I agree, lets hope this will be a good one. Missing 9 was a bit disappointing in the end but the other works of Ashbun are not bad. + Cho Yeo Jung normally picks quite interesting dramas.
I was right. I knew it all along. I don't usually gloat about these things but I will in this instance. There was…
The characters are interesting but predictable, yes, however honestly i think the main gem of this is the extreme critical take on politics. Just wow. The screenwriters are quite daring there
alright so the first few episodes were fine but from the mid onwards to the end it made not a lot of sense. The female lead is frustrating but very relatable and realistic . The biggest problem lays with the male lead though. We know literally nothing about him. And it ends with knowing nothing about him. No explanation for why he acts the way he does, no background story for his changes, nothing. Instead we get some quite worrying scenes that make one question the health of this relationship. I am all for growth and working on broken characters but this is definitely not providing that at all. Granted the scenes and background music were really well done, also the sub relationships are nicely developed, but the main one is disappointing. 7/10
what a awesome article! congrats to you I really enjoyed this drama as well. It was very interesting and brought up lots of questions and thinking situations. The only thing i criticized was that occasionally it has some very long stretched parts but then it gripped one again with its twists and its unpredictable situations.
This was one of the best c-crime dramas. It is so well made production-wise and each character is a joy to follow.! Complex and gripping. And the stories! They truly show that culprits are also victims. Absolutely well done 10/10
one of the rare dramas where more episodes would have benefited the drama more. Its a really nice little drama, full of gripping stories, and interesting characters (even when one specific couple is a bit....yeah could have improved the age there). However it felt sometimes too fast phased. Especially with the main backstory a bit more time would have improved it more. Nonetheless, well done 8/10
its multiple but the drama is not one case per episode. its few cases but they go over many episodes and are to some degree interlinked with one another.
i dont really understand episode 11 and 12. Yo Han knows Sun Ah and what she is capable off, either he extremely underestimated her and was too prideful or he just did not think? Truly it makes not much sense. All he does is so "open", as if he is playing a game of "can I get away with it or are you smart enough to figure me out". I am a little disappointed with his character....
Ga On shows his mistrust and how unsure he is once again. Boy decide for once who you trust and then fight for them. He is jumping from Soo Hyun to Yo Han to his old prof Jung Ho and so on. It is as if he has no stance and sways from one side to the other.
And finally. The drama seems to be more and more a democracy-critique. So basically democracy is wrong but its still better than if you let the people self reign? I am a bit confused as to what the main point is now.
That scene. When Joo seokkyung bangs her own head on the mirror and screamed “It hurts dad” I think it’s…
yeh her character really shows what happens when you get abused by one parent, ignored by the other and have money. Its really sad but what is even worse that it is not even uncommon in real life in that specific society.
good movie. It showed what guilt and redemption can be like. Really liked the psychological aspect of it + it was quite unique, well connected, acted and portrayed. 9/10

2nd season is alright
3rd season ehhhhh yeah. Debatable if it was really necessary
