I honestly needed time to adjust to the new casts esp the female lead. Ai qing vibes in S1 and S2 were completely…
I have the same problem. The actress of this version is not bad but i truly preferred the Ai Qing from Go Go squid. Generally Go Go squid did a better job with storyline and topic and especially humor. This version needs a lot of getting into.
not really. Some characters assume that someone else is in the mix but it is never the case and only a misunderstanding that is both absolutely funny and dramatic to watch. There is one storyline where you could argue they were unknowingly in the past a triangle but its not really the main focus of the drama nor is it very much talked about. So bottom line: no love triangle
I'm assuming this is more of a prequel than sequel so they should be younger than they were in Go Go Squid since…
I thought so too at first but then Solos daughter is the same age as she was in Go Go Squid. And yes ....the change of industry is something i dont truly comprehend either It really feels more and more like a different universe
I'm confused. Did they change the age of the characters with the new actors too? Especially regarding Appledog and Solo. You really are at a better position if you have not watched Go Go Squid for this drama.
Gosh you truly end up disliking all characters apart from the female leads best friend. One is worse than the other. I do like that they pointed out falling out of love has man reasons and both parties are at fault but I still do not understand from episode 1 onwards the actions some took. 7,5/10 for me
this is sooooo good! There is more than just one couple or even one family. And all of them are absolutely amazing and entertaining to follow. This drama is truly a gem so far
I actually enjoyed this until the last 5 episodes. The story is funny and sweet, at times very fast phased and other times very cheesy too but since this is supposedly all taking place in a novel it makes a lot of sense why some scenes are this way. I truly found this all very logic and well executed. The only problem i had was how they let it all end. It never once said why the main character never doubted her experiences as just being something she had made up. She always was sure of the things she experienced being also experienced by the main guy. I did also not truly find it satisfying how the story of the other side characters were left open. And of course the question of why they even ended up in this place. The reason given in the drama is a bit too vage. Non the less it really is not a bad drama and the romance moments are golden. 8,5/10
rewatched this and once again the 2nd couple is more my favorite than the first. I still think they did a really good job regarding the portrayal of the romance couples but the doctor/military background story is immensely flawed. So in terms of being realistic it failed. But since the main focus is on romance it is still a nice watch. 8/10.
Very deep, beautiful, memorizing story. Truly it is a 10/10. everything was perfectly done apart from one thing - they never explained why this specific tape was this special. A shame really.....but maybe leaving it open means they might go back to this specific world and produce a spinoff :)
started it for the main couple - stayed for the support couples. The drama was ok. Its something light to watch when you want a normal romance drama. But it does have its fair share of flaws too. I found the beginning absolutely ridiculous but the romance was nice and something easy to watch. The drama improved over the 24 episodes but the main couple lost a lot once they got together. Thankfully the support couples stood out then. All in all its a 7/10 for me
This was the first drama that had absolute no boring and predictable episode at all. Even in the best crime dramas there is always something you can point out that will indeed happen but this time? nope. one surprise after the next The cinematographic and especially the OST were fantastic! It added so much to the drama just wow, well done job. Then the characters : everyone added to it but the shining star was Kang Yeo Joo (Cho Yeo Jung). This actress is a pure phenomenon. She is so damn good...absolutely amazing The only thing i am a little disappointed with is that it ended. I would not mind watching another 4 episodes. Well done well done 10/10 for me
Spider man meets after-life meets korea meets demons. That is how it felt from episode 1 on XD Very well done cinematographic wise and special effect wise. I could however not connect with the story and within the last 5 episodes not with the characters either. One second one go pulled in and the next it was off again. They focused a lot on the popular themes I see in western superhero shows/movies and i get why this is so well liked, but for me in terms of depth it often kept to the surface. I do think this drama would have immensely profited if they had 20 episodes and actually developed each characters story and not just given a scene and over with. 7/10 for me.
Do they all cheat, why did the did the newly wedded boy cheat and what sides/how is it portrayed? I'm curious…
So for now 3 / 4-ish couples are introduced where at least one couple faces a cheating problem. The other one is still a bit in the open what the cause for their problems is. There seems to be someone else but we do not know much about that yet. The 3rd seems to be more about parents-problems than cheating. the Newly-weds are not newly-weds when the story stars - there is a time-jump. With the sides: With cheating there is no one side. It has multiple layers and different reasons. This is all very well debated in the opening. If you are open to that i do think you might enjoy the drama .
I keep wondering, how do you guys define a "happy" ending? And by this, I mean what does it imply for :- The comatose…
Bong-hwan turns out to be he reincarnation of the queen. So basically their soul is the same. This is the only way I can make sense of the show and its ending
This version needs a lot of getting into.
