I truly enjoyed this. Well done acting, nice storyline, great cinematographic and music. But in my opinion one could have cut this down to 35-40 episodes as well. 70 was a little much stretched, due to this i give this a 7/10
I have watched it yes :) I enjoyed the characters a lot, especially our male lead was very unique and twisted. He is playing with fire and stumbling a lot on the way. Political-wise it is not 100% accurate but then again its not a documentary, so therefor its well done. And you are right, it does, with its 10 episodes, do a nice job compared to other political dramas. The only problem I had with this show was the lack of character background depth. But I hope this will find a place in season 2, especially with how things ended in season 1. Well done review :) thanks for making it
Yes, the acting is superb. I thought after the end to Ep 8 (which I was disappointed with), Ep 9 transitioned…
Yes same. He is such a twisted character, very unique. And very interesting. I too am curious how this will turn out. But you are right, the end was a little bit too rushed, but then we only have 10 episodes, you don't have much leeway there. I wish season 2 wouldn't be quite so far away, but alright what shall we do. Lets see how this will turn out :)
Well done drama. It kept it interesting throughout the 60 episodes. Acting wise it was very well done as well. However I had a little problem with Sang Sang. In the beginning her youthful appearance fit well with her character but I wished the producers/director would have given Sang Sang a more mature appearance in the later episodes. It feels very off when a character that looks like 12 speaks of marriage..... No matter how old the real life actress is, as long as the character does not represent a little more age it just feel wrong. Due to this I will give the drama a 8,5/10.
This truly was an interesting drama. Acting wise top, character wise: unique and very realistic. It dealt with a lot of unusual topics and characters. It was not the typical drama, truly well done. It reminded me a lot about the netflix show "House of Cards". I really enjoyed it. As of the accuracy: yes, political wise there were some not-so-true things. But honestly, this is a drama and not a documentary, therefor some leeway should be given. The problem I had was less the accuracy, it was more the background to the characters. We were not allowed to be given a lot of info about them. Content for season 2 maybe? From this: I give this drama a 9/10. Well done, now lets see where season 2 will take us :)
After the first 4 episode this became more and more interesting, till it grabbed one and didn't let me leave till all episodes were over. It was a well done drama, it had a different take on it since we know what character plays what role and how the past is connected to them from pretty much the beginning onwards, that makes the surprise element, that is normally in such dramas the case, non-existing. But still there are some surprises on the way, and it makes the viewer curious how it all will end. The background music though, wow, what a gem. This drama did it amazingly well. Acting wise it was nicely done as well. All in all it was a good drama, after one makes the first 4 episodes. For this I give it a 9/10
im debating if I should watch it, I mean half of the people love it while the other half dont... its really confusing
We have a different approach on a crime-drama. Now if this is up to your liking or not is something you can figure out by giving it a try ;) Personally I think of it as a possible gem. Its very promising.
a great beginning, a great cast, an intriguing story yes this truly is a gem of a start. This is going to be an interesting drama. A gem of a gem. I'm very much looking forward to next week.
Ayy completely agree with your picks from Misty, Princess Agents and Stranger. But the top place is for me still kepts by;
Ji Soo Hyun from Big Issue: Damn she is just pure amazing. Absolutely 100% amazingly bad ass.
Choi Yoo Jin from The K2: another absolutely amazing done female bad ass lead.
and currently Kang Sun Yeong from Chief of Staff is holding place number 3:Another absolutely amazing, cunning lady. She knows what she wants and she goes for it.
amazing drama so far. It's very political but we have some great twisted characters, a secret romance, and a smart lady. Gives me a lot of "Big Issue" and "The K2" vibes.
To be honest, the story is quite predictable. I did not read anything about it, but from episode 5 onwards i had a strong suspicion on where this would go to. And right I was. Non the less, the character interaction ,the romance, the theme of psychiatry and what is ill and what not, was very well done. Plus the ending was just amazing. Definitely one of the best last episodes of kdramas. 8/10 points
wow what a drama . I had 0 knowledge or even expectations for this and was pleasantly surprised on how this turned out to be. The characters are amazing, the plot is well thought through, interesting and well done. The cinematographic and the background music is absolutely awesome. I have rarely seen a drama filmed so well. 10/10, and if I could I would have added a few more stars
I agree. I wish they will tell us more about Beak Beom's accident and Eun Sol's family background. I feel like…
yeah exactly what I fear too. They do throw a lot of potential at us, just like you said, but if they don't use it soon, its gonna be wasted potential.
seeing how we suppose to know the characters from 1st season I don't see why they should focus on character development…
ahhh *liked* is very wage. No actually I absolutely disliked the female lead in season 1. She is a lot better now, and does seem to have changed a lot as well. And so does our male doc. The others are more or less similar to season 1, if they were in season 1 present. However it is important to continue this line. Maybe not focus on it 100% but a little would be appreciated and profit the story immensely. It's good to hear not all see it like that, but for me personally I would truly appreciate it if they would go a little deeper into each character.
I really do find this season much better than the first one, however so far there is hardly any character development. Or anything really that makes one start to feel for the characters. They are there and do their job, a great job, but still it is the little special essence that makes ones get interested into a drama to the point of being all excited for the next episode. But so far its lacking a lot of that
Once one gets over the first 2 episodes it becomes really a fun and cute ride. We have some amazing actors, greta chemistry between the leads, a lead guy that is adorable and funny, a female lead that one can feel for and admire. Yup definitely a great drama 9,5/10 (0,5 minus points for the beginning)
Its a nice dramas. It tells the story of a mother and her 3 daughters, one daughter story is better than the other, especially our middle child ones is amazing. Watch it :)

Due to this I will give the drama a 8,5/10.
and instead of a beast and a castle, we have ghosts and a hotel.
it as an interesting beginning.
IU is playing her role again fantastically.
I will look forward for the next episode :)

But the romance is not the majority topic of the drama.

These would be my top 3 female characters for now
Gives me a lot of "Big Issue" and "The K2" vibes.
