to be honest, you don't need any romance in this drama. The characters have such a deep complicated relationship with each other, a romance would make it fall flat. Maybe in the end we have a little bit of something but I truly doubt it. And I would not be bothered by it either ;) give it a try, you will see, the drama is so good, that sometimes you dont need romance at all ;)
My only complaint is NaNa's underwhelming performance. I wish she would focus on altering her tone of voice at…
you think so ? Im absolutely in love with her voice and acting. She is so refreshing compared to other actresses XD its truly funny how different tastes can be
Absolute amazing screenwriting when it comes to Watcher. This is like something so rare to come by, I am dearly looking forward what other future screenplays he will create.
honestly, even after episode 10, and some things are slowly becoming clearer, they made me doubt everyone and everything so much, that I still don't believe any glue they have given so far. absolute amazing drama!
The title and the summary make it sound like it got inspired by Jean Paul Sartre's play "No Exit", also known as "Hell is other people". Probably is. Its sounding way too similar. Bookmarked :)
I must say I wasn't really impressed when I watched the first episode but boy I am starting to get hooked ...…
same here, I did not have a lot of expectations after the first 2 episodes but now I am absolutely hooked. And its gets better and better. This is truly turning into a gem .
it was alright. Cinematographic- wise it was very well done, characters blossomed from first to 2nd season, the case was well though through, + we have an open ending that gives it a little more curiosity for a potential season 3. But personally for me something was lacking. The drama gripped me in the beginning but I found myself slowly getting less and less curious where this will all go to. Due to this I will give it a 6,5/10.
I have interest in this drama.. but i just wanna know, is the appearance of the ghost scary? or somewhat disgusting..something…
hmm they show gore and some have open wounds, but I would not say I'm scared of them. Its just a nice and well done portrayal. Give it a try ;) You will see ghosts right at the first episode.
the trauma suffered by some characters is affecting them not only psychologically but also physically causing…
Both are realistic. When you work in areas where traumatic things have to be told to people you often are confronted with very different reactions. Some people act out and some become very quiet and unemotional, you could say even cold.
Watcher is picking up many different ways of how someone can work through something. Thats truly something unique and absolutely a joy to see :)
I enjoyed this drama however I did have to skip a few scenes in the beginning. Honestly I think this drama would have maybe added a little to its well done thematic if they would have not focused so much on the high school time and went instead with them meeting again and adding a few flashbacks. But the way it was done was alright too. Well played acting, nice story, just a little too stretched for me so for this I give it a 8/10
I was not sure of this drama at first, but this 2nd week of episodes made me get hooked. Its truly interesting. Especially when it comes to our main guy. I cant truly grasp him yet, but he sure managed to catch my interest. Well done drama so far, im looking forward to next week
I enjoyed this a great deal. It's nothing unique, the typical story that has been written again and again, but it's well played out and the characters are nicely developed. Adding a lot of adorable couple-moments and friendship-scenes and you have a wonderful good-feel drama. The last few episodes were a little too unbalanced compared to the 20 episodes before. There was just something missing. For this I give this drama a 8,5/10.
I'm sad that kangjoon wasted his talent on this tedious drama. class of lies much better. can not even compare.
tastes differe a lot :). I absolutely love Watcher, whereas I find Class of Lies a little lacking so far. But then we only have 2 episodes of Class of Lies whereas we have 6 episodes of Watcher so far. So it would be unfair to judge it, and vice versa However I do believe that the choices actors make with picking a drama should be accepted. You might not enjoy it, but the actor might have ;)
I truly enjoyed this. Well done acting, nice storyline, great cinematographic and music. But in my opinion one could have cut this down to 35-40 episodes as well. 70 was a little much stretched, due to this i give this a 7/10
I have watched it yes :) I enjoyed the characters a lot, especially our male lead was very unique and twisted. He is playing with fire and stumbling a lot on the way. Political-wise it is not 100% accurate but then again its not a documentary, so therefor its well done. And you are right, it does, with its 10 episodes, do a nice job compared to other political dramas. The only problem I had with this show was the lack of character background depth. But I hope this will find a place in season 2, especially with how things ended in season 1. Well done review :) thanks for making it
Yes, the acting is superb. I thought after the end to Ep 8 (which I was disappointed with), Ep 9 transitioned…
Yes same. He is such a twisted character, very unique. And very interesting. I too am curious how this will turn out. But you are right, the end was a little bit too rushed, but then we only have 10 episodes, you don't have much leeway there. I wish season 2 wouldn't be quite so far away, but alright what shall we do. Lets see how this will turn out :)
Well done drama. It kept it interesting throughout the 60 episodes. Acting wise it was very well done as well. However I had a little problem with Sang Sang. In the beginning her youthful appearance fit well with her character but I wished the producers/director would have given Sang Sang a more mature appearance in the later episodes. It feels very off when a character that looks like 12 speaks of marriage..... No matter how old the real life actress is, as long as the character does not represent a little more age it just feel wrong. Due to this I will give the drama a 8,5/10.

this guy seems just as twisted as she is
