not sure if they would tbh. lin tuo doesn’t really seem quite optimistic about living on with this illness. and this drama has changed the layout quite a bit.

gotta keep reminding myself lin tuo is just a fictional character to ease the heartbreak…ALS is such a heartbreaking disease.

usually terminal illness tropes don’t do quite well because of the heartbreak. id say the popularity is average? some clips on douyin still manage to hit 300,000-100,000 likes. but still wouldn’t consider it very popular

mental health is truly a pain in the ass. there’s no cure and we have to deal with this suffering our entire life. but if there’s one thing you should know, it’s that you’re not alone. there’s many of us out there also struggling with our illnesses, some of them have more experience and have found ways to cope with their feelings. don’t be afraid to reach out to mental health forums because together we are a community facing the adversities in life together :) it’s during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. never think about ending your own life, for you are so much more than your illness. as a teen almost entering adulthood, i hope ill have the courage to persist through life like you. old me could’ve never imagined myself grown up, possibly with a family of my own. let’s persist like lin tuo and find what’s meaningful to us in this lifetime. 加油! (don’t give up.)
