i wanted a season 2

first i want to mention that its gore indeed like not light at all ,or at least thats how i felt,this felt more gore than shows like alice in borderland or squid game to me, maybe because of the amount of blood everywhere i had to cover my eyes few times (and because disturbing deaths)
i liked watching the games too they looked fun, but the ending hints at another part and thats why i wanted more
whats nice is that i started this one with light expectations, maybe because it was made in 2014 (as its old) but i ended up surprised i find it good
so:
-interesting and entertaining plot
-liked the survival games
-good looking characters
-unpredictable events
- fast paced, suspence story , it doesnt feel like they are wasting time on not important things
if you can handle and watch gore then i highly recommend

Had potential, turned out disappointing

I hesitated to write a review for a while, so I took some time to gather my thoughts.
This series had potential, but for me it ended up disappointing and it wasn’t for the reason some people assume. It’s not about Doha not ending up with the team leader. Honestly, I would’ve been fine even if he ended up with the barista; that wasn’t the main issue.

What bothered me:
A lot of viewers rooted for the best friend early on because he initially came across as a green flag (not everyone, but many did). But his character kept getting worse and worse. I’m used to seeing characters start off red flag and eventually get character development, especially if they’re meant to be the final couple , but this felt like the opposite. I went from “I don’t mind if they end up together” to “I definitely don’t want them together.”

His behavior turned into ragebait at some point. The non consensual kiss already crossed a boundary , if your friend can’t feel safe being vulnerable around you, that’s a problem, then i thought let's ignore that and move on then he became controlling and aggressive: Doha couldn’t talk to a guy without being lectured, and the best friend even punched someone who did nothing wrong and just because he is jealous. Meanwhile, he walked around acting like he was allowed to do whatever he wanted and that's supposed to be romantic.

When Doha asked for space to think, I was ready to like the best friend again if he respected that. But instead he kept pushing. Someone tells you they need space , especially after that kiss and him feeling confused and your response is to pressure them? at somepoint he is just screaming red flag

I didn't bother watching the last 2 eps , there is no way im going to magically like it or root for them.
As for Doha himself… he looked like a grown man but often acts helpless with the mind of a small kid ,i wish he stand up for himself ,this show could have been so much better

a creepy and stalkerish handsome guy

the harassment tho.... a bit of harassment i let it pass but this is constant harassment that i see, everywhere he go he finds him stalking him and the guy will not take a no as an answer, im trying to not think too much about it as its just a serie, its all fun until its a real life situation it become a serious problem then, they choose a handsome actor and make people swoon and ignore the red flags.
that scene when they are in the bus he took it too far, he is leaning toward him and putting his hand on his hand on purpose while the other ML clearly doesnt want to be touched he keeps pushing him away, if you are trying to flirt with someone you dont do it like that, not being creepy and non con touching!! thats called sexual harassment/sexual assault depending on what you exactly did.
and he took a picture of him without his consent and then sent it later to him wtf
some people who love this serie feel defensive but its ok for you to acknowledge the flaws of a character but enjoy the serie as well instead of pretending like nothing wrong with the ML because some people are saying he is "only hitting on him" and "its aggressive flirting" wtf? he was clearly crossing his boundaries.. admitting that some things are morally not right is ok, if he was a woman those same people will not be saying those words
another unrealistic thing, how is he harassing his boss without any consequences, i dont get it , usually the person who has power is the one who abuse their power, but this guy is a new employee to work but he is harassing his boss, so weird concept...
the script is obviously bad, really bad, there is so much better plots than this one ,dropped

interesting but the ending could have been better

overall this show is not bad, it reminds me of "to sir ,with love" but i loved "to sir,with love" much more.

first of all Sasin is a bit too hot headed, the type of guy who jump to conclusions very quick, doesnt listen to your explanation, say some nasty things but later apologize after calming down and he has a kind heart, if that happen 10000 times thats how it is. he is the type of guy full of passion but has an aggressive attitude in the same time, not necessary something bad but feel frustating at times and a bit too much, then later i go back to liking him..
while Saenkaew is the cute type, pretty and has his own trauma.

in this series there's way too much evil characters which made me want to skip their parts, almost everyone is bad, only very few people are likable, i find it a bit much depressing esp in the latest episodes ,so this might be why i didnt enjoy it as much as i wanted, when i watched to sir with love smh i didnt feel this way.

then there is the ending, not every character need to have a redemption arc, i find both the father and Pin so unlikeable , i coudnt go back to liking Pin after what she did in ep 11 or have sympathy, like my sympathy to her kind of vanished at that ep i was rather much frustrated by her behaviors....
so in general this is a good show to watch, i just wished that few things happened differently

disturbing

this show simply made me feel like im watching a criminal that needs to get caught asap and get thrown in jail. romance/love heals everything? yeah i will not continue to watch to see anything like that. because based on synopsis they are going to be in love ,but whatever they are doing with the abuse its way too much.

the pace of the show is also a problem, everytime i watch its like they are stuck in the same place, i kept looking for improvement ,for forward steps but its just slow and the same things continue to happen which is the ml treating the other ml like a punchbag nonstop, now it become full on r*pe, i dont see any appeal in the show its just too much disturbing at this point, i will be rooting for justice in case if it happens, justice being served is not a sad ending to me

dont get me wrong, i do tend to love jbls but this is one exception , i just coudnt finish it
it felt like they relied on a famous serie to pick the public interest but they should know that this is not enough, both acting, chemistry and plot werent done well, at least the thai one have the acting and chemistry of the mls to back it up, this one is lacking on every level which explains the rating of this serie
id still rate it 6/10 only because i have seen worse
adaptations dont always backfire, the cherry magic one was good both versions were good and enjoyable to watch, in order for adaptations to do well they need to pick good actors ,for them to have good chemistry and make the story creative and interesting to watch , a bland one will only make people feel asleep and if they can predict almost every little thing because of excessive" copy paste" dialogue from the original one it kills the interest

good quality ,hard work always win

while i understand ep 1 did upset some people ,imo the show is much more than one ep so its better to focus on the whole picture rather than one or two scenes when judging, and the ost? great as well ,this show has everything from romance to comedy , to angsty vibes to happy vibes
but one thing for sure, this series deserves the success it got, overhyped? nope ,they worked hard and it paid off well , they had a dream they made it true, with all the disadvantages they faced by gov etc they continued on and promoted the show well, i'am happy for them
they also picked the right actors for the right roles,if you want something good, refreshing i highly recommend this for you

underrated but great content

Sparks Camp is so underrated, i feel like barely anyone is watching it but it is good. that's why i highly recommend it. its a gay dating show.
if i have to choose one season ,id probably pick this one. not sure if its because its new or because i love the cast. either ways all seasons are good i enjoyed watching them.
what i enjoyed:
-good cast, mostly are likeable i enjoyed their interactions,
-healthy conversations,
-fun games,
-i love when they invited few of past cast for a game, and we got updates about their lives, i love Alex. my favorite from this season is Kim, Harold and Aaron,
-a lot of endgames, good and fun conversations, you can see the sparks and attraction
-its available legally on youtube, for free

it started good then it went downhill

im sorry but what was that ending? i hate it when they shock me in the last mins with something like this, that was kind of abrupt and cruel, like let us make the most drastic ending we can think of, why?
coudnt they simply separate and live their own lives ? as if cheating nonstop wasnt enough already to annoy me, lets kill one of them? maybe change it to a scene of the ml seeking therapy isnt that better?
the only good thing is that the mls had chemistry and also the start of the show wasnt bad and was kind of entertaining in a sense that i didnt see filler scenes nor i felt bored when i was watching, my rating could have been much lower if it wasnt for that

the first real omegaverse

What i loved:
-its the first real omegaverse bl : they showed omegaverse properly: heats, ruts, pheromones etc
-good introduction to the omegaverse in the first ep
-interesting and addictive story
-the visuals , mls looking so handsome
-making this bl wasnt easy as its a bl from china, they worked hard and i appreciate that, so i highly recommend people to watch legally and support them

What i disliked:
-rushed ending: about half the final ep
-second cp didnt have a proper ending but at least it hints to a happy ending

i heard it was supposed to be 24 eps which makes sense, but overall it was good
i highly recommend people to watch it and to give the show a lot of love

i wanted to enjoy it

The story had a lot of potential ,the synopsis really caught my attention (I love survival games plots). But unfortunately, the execution didn’t quite work for me. I found the pacing a bit slow, and I had trouble liking any character nor did i feel attached. The dialogue and acting didn’t fully draw me in either, so I ended up distracted , losing focus a few times. I did give it another try, but it still couldn’t hold my attention.

That being said, I can see why others might enjoy it ,the concept itself is intriguing, and it definitely has its own style. Just personally, it wasn’t quite my thing

mixed feelings

i had mixed feelings about this serie, many people love this show and i can see why.. this show tackled serious matters, it mention many issues and it feel mature not silly which is something that i really loved
but what i didnt like at all is, first im not someone who like comedy, i find some comedy funny but most of the time it doesnt, the other thing is that im not really into the plot of this serie so thats the issue, im not into plots about time travel, lose of memory and you having to figure out what happened which is what this serie is about, so thats why i dont find myself enjoying this, at some point i also started to feel bored, not sure if its because it started to be dragging or only because im not into the plot. def its not my cup of tea
