Didn’t you read what the happy ending theorists claim? They argue that she acted this way to prevent him from turning into his father, and honestly, IF she loves him, there is really NO OTHER justification for treating him like that.
The problem with this theory, however, is that while she lectures and interrogates him with hundreds of questions, demanding reassurance about a future that hasn’t happened yet and there is no hint that such a future ever will, (he has never, even remotely, shown signs of becoming like his father, on the contrary, he became a wreck fighting against him at the beginning, and later he even physically confronted him) , she herself has become like her grandmother. So if this theory is true the hypocrisy of this woman is disarming, with absolutely no self-awareness at all. Still cruel, still disprectfull and still manipulative. But for me she just didn't love him. He deserve better.
I think second half was better than the first. I almost dropped it at episode 13
She put him on trials, lied to him, used him, deceived him, and kept him in the dark. She went on to marry another man after locking him in a room after their first night together, without explanation, disrespecting him both as the man she had just been with and as an official whose job involves handling cases like that. She never told him she loved him, yet she still slept with him and planned to leave him with a letter when it suited her, and she break up with him right before the end. She is bad and become worse. Ml deserve better, as character and in love.
I think that if he were treated the same way fl in other dramas are treated, no one would have complained about…

In Tus the 2 main litterally live their life in parallel in the story. So it's not a matter of "it revolve around her" but of "they truly did dirt to him". Romance is made in 2 and the ml is so important in the story, still, have even less time/develop than secondary characters. That was simply terribly done and deeply unfair.

She can sleep with a man she like with everyone knowing about it and no shame at all. She has control over her marriage and know that what he did is the same she did, so she is not happy but not the desperate angry woman you all seems to see her. She want to kill him to keep the promise with the granma, and even tho she kill the snake he could have died in far too many other way for what she asked to him.

Finally, someone who shares my thoughts, that she doesn’t deserve him, and she’s cruel to him. Can you believe that in the entire drama she never even apologizes to him for her 2! 2!!! betrayals and everything she put him through? And they still get back together only because of HIS love, while she think of her own business. I really struggle to call this kind of relationship romantic, even more when all the work is done by his side only.
