Can’t wait to see Neo in another drama, but it’s a pity that the overlap between his two projects may lessen the recognition both deserve in the mainland.

Again, as for the novel, the drama may differ.
When the trio first comes together, the ml and fl are hiding the identities of the section/organizations they belong to.

The ml and fl are both very smart, and they quickly realize each other's true identities. The 2ml is quite naive. When the antagonists reveal the truth to him, he believe that they have simply used him.

His shock and anger overtakes him and he stabs YWJ.

The ml and fl decide to sacrifice their own lives to prove to the emperor that immortality does not exist, hoping to prevent a war (that would cause children to starve, as the ml once did). However, the fl alone is saved by her master, which ruins a major part of the plan and leaves the ml on his own at the palace.

From that point on, the ml is forced to endure horrific hallucinations because he must remain close to a radioactive meteorite (an object tied to the immortality legend).
Every few hours, he is made to regain consciousness by taking a medicine that causes excruciating pain, solely so he can be lucid when speaking to the emperor. This pill is given by the fl’s master, the only person staying with the ml, who shares his plan and is a particularly vicious individual. He gave the ml such a medicine as revenge for past events between the two of them, even though there were other, less painful ways to wake the ml from his hallucinatory trance.

After weeks of mental torture that slowly destroys even his body, the fl’s master finally tells the ml that, to follow their plan, he is now allowed to die. The ml then takes a pill capable of dissolving even metal, which completely dissolves his body, making the emperor believe that he disappeared because he achieved immortality.
And all his friends agree that this outcome was “for the best” as if this had been their purpose all along.

This end kinda bothers me as throughout the novel, we see countless atrocities and injustices caused by people fabricating an immortality legend to deceive the emperor. Yet in the end, the ml sacrifices himself to prove immortality exists despite the fact that he (and the fl) initially surrendered for the exact opposite reason. This makes the story feel so weak. And the ml’s ending so unfair.
If the drama chooses to have the ml die as well, they should not make him die like that, under unbearable torture and completely alone. And they must handle it in a way that makes more sense and gives his death proper meaning.

If they follow the novel, Xzx completely loses his mind under certain circumstances due to a terrible trauma and blindly attacks everyone.
He also becomes very powerful, and YWJ and Sqs have great difficulty trying to stop him.

On VOS page, there was a big mess with photos and rules, and you clearly knew it, as you used it as an example to back up your complaints.

If you want others to delete photos and care so much about the rules, you need to be the first to do it, not just preach about it.

After finishing it, I deleted it because I didn’t like the ending (meaningless for the ml).

Not only that, even when one partner uses and abuses the other and without even apologize they're still back together. As if love must makes one partner’s suffering insignificant only to make the other’s faults disappear without any accountability. That’s a disturbing subtle message to send, even in a drama.

Only in the intro of this drama, the boy was ready to throw himself in as a stuntman. Anyone who doesn’t see passion in this must be blind.

Yes, but in the novel the ml crossdresses as a woman for about half of the story. Meanwhile, in the drama YWJ doesn’t even have a female disguise, so they’ll probably skip that part entirely, or maybe just include a small hint of it, who knows.
I just hope they won't fall both for the fl. As many, romance kinda started to bother me, especially when it’s portrayed in a disturbing way, like in some dramas (but strangely, always in favor of the fl).

Zhao Yuan Zhou is truly a noble soul. He is so good and for this he suffer so much, yet he chooses to keep going only to not inflict the same torture on another innocent life or to someone who might use it to destroy a world he himself would not even be part of.
What a strong, pure, and noble soul is this great demon ZYZ. 😭

And Neo's portrayal of him is simply perfect.

Apparently, his kindness, strength, and selflessness are taken for granted.

He acts purely out of strength, goodness, and immense empathy so much so that he's willing to hurt himself for the sake of others. He’s poisoned and dying. He’s lived a life full of tragedy, without love, completely alone, beaten until he bled and passed out, betrayed by everyone. And yet, miraculously, he came out of it kind and strong.
He carries unimaginable pain and deep, lasting trauma, but still chooses to help others, care for them, and save them. He gave so much to the female lead with sincerity, with strength and she repaid him with more lies, again and again, even after he forgave her the first time. Still, she continued with her deception. She never once considered JBZ’s emotions until now. She could have chosen to ease his suffering, to be honest but instead, she chose to hurt him and take away his right to choose for himself.
She only act out of ego and self- righteousness.

Nope, he is dying for real. You didn't notice because this drama is all about the fl while the ml that is more interesting is ignored.
And stop with the excuse that she had no choice but to steal! That’s just ridiculous come on! She had plenty of choices! Seriously, you're being ridiculous now!🤣

Right, if she was going to steal it anyway, the lesser pain would’ve been to tell him the truth. It’s logical from every angle.
He would have been hurt either way, but by not saying anything and just stealing it, she only made things worse for both of them. She also took away his right to choose whether to save her or stay loyal to his master. And that was his choice to make, not hers. They’re just grasping at straws at this point.
