I thought I'd lose interest because the FL isn't the typical Chinese beauty and I was a little lost whenever they showed the gaming scenes. However, this has been such a pleasant watch. Good chemistry (Xu Kai is just that good... or am I giving him too much credit when his character is supposed to be stoic lol), humor, and pacing so far!

Title Joy of Life
I thought we were over those "I just saw you for one second, but you're the love of my life" romance plots.........I'm…
I'm on EP 21 and can confirm the romance stays cringey,, like even after the few interactions those 2 characters had it's not clear how they could have an actual crush on each other lol. It's true the romance isn't a huge aspect of this drama tho

Truly a waste of time after episode 16. Not enough scenes between the leads...had to skip so many scenes.
Agree; everything that made sense and was enjoyable was up to after 16. After that, I questioned the logic of the drama and was waiting for the end.

Highly agree! My favorite parts were between Dilraba and Zhang Bin Bin so they might as well have made a cut of purely their scenes and I'd easily watch that. -_-
