Persistence and the power of love may fuel your dream

"Typhoon family" stars one of my top 7 favorite actors, (ML) Lee Jun Ho. The more I watch him, the higher his stock grows. The man really needs to collaborate for a series with the actress Park Gyu Young. IMOP, they could pass for siblings. I can't unsee it.

The series "Typhoon" explores the dynamics of growing from immaturity to manhood, as well as themes of family, the challenges of entrepreneurship, greed, and the essential qualities of persistence and love. The main lead tries to follow through on his dad's legacy while desperately trying to find ways to keep his company from falling under. It is a difficult time financially for everyone. In the series, the economy has brought many companies to their knees.

I liked Kim Min Ha's (FL) role as one of Typhoon's most loyal employees. I feel she is part of the reason the ML drew his energy. Of course there were other means of motivation. His dad, but also the antagonist, Wang Mo. I found him to be more of a nuisance than a true bad guy. He was just as immature Ep 16 as he was in Ep 1. It seems he was motivated by trying to impress his dad, fueled by his immature hatred towards the ML.

It was a good performance by most of the cast. But here are some issues that irritated me. ML confessed his love and cared deeply for Kim Min Ha. There were times, however, when the guy disappointed me. She was disrespected many times by her manager, Ku Jin. In spite of her hard work, he doubted her abilities. He also failed to recognize her core loyalty to the CEO (ML) as well as to the company. In some cases, this was done right in front of ML! However, he remained silent. The managers comments and bribery actions made him one of my least favorite employees. Yes, he later changed for the best… whatever, too late.

My other issue was the "fire" that was set. The FL slapped the antagonist and mentioned to him that she knew it was him. ML was present! His longtime rival and pest! He didn't question it immediately, nor did he follow through. This is the woman you love, right? Did I miss something? The antagonist went on, business as usual, while the ML's follow-through was wanting to kiss and cuddle.

With all of that glitch aside, the issues I mentioned stuck with me, but overall, the show was a good watch. I guess the last episodes, showing the results of all of their hard work saved it from a lower rating.
