I don't think it has anything to do with not planning ahead. New years is just considered a national holiday in…
That’s fair, I was mostly thinking from an online-only perspective, but I get that TV broadcasting rules change things. Thanks for the info!

I understand it’s New Year’s and people are off work, but I still don’t get why a company this big wouldn’t plan ahead. It’s not like they’re editing episodes a week before release. They could’ve just scheduled the upload according to the usual weekly timetable. It’s frustrating to have to wait this long

but it's not definitely for everybody, it's very raw, harsh and miserable, but I like it because of how natural the acting is and the soulful moments between them

Title Happy of the End Spoiler
Ok someone needs to spoil the specific ending to this series for all of us who need to decide if or when to watch…
Haoren goes to prison for 3 years for stabbing Maya and separates from Chihiro to let him live the way he wants, feeling guilty that he dragged him in the situation with Maya. Also, Maya ends up killing himself. 3 years later, Chihiro becomes a popular photographer and after Haoren discovers that Chihiro never forgot him, they finally reunite. Taking into account everything that happened, the ending felt so hopeful, it felt like finally exhaling after holding your breath in

This one is so underrated... I mean 7.9 isn't that low and it's actually a good score but thi s deserves better
glad to see that the rating is going up

Like the others mentioned below, ep 3 is the best so far, I feel like the series is finally picking up
On Happy of the End Sep 17, 2024
The atmosphere is so heavy, it feels like trying to find the light at the end of the tunnel in the darkest place, but somehow it's so captivating. I'm rooting for them to get out of the miserable state they're in

10! nothing less...a 10.
yep, I would give it a 10, really enjoying it so far! but the general rating should've been above 8 🥲

“OMG this episode is the best!” -me after each episode 🤣😭
No but fr, my expectations keep getting higher and they keep delivering. At this point, I can watch 50 episodes of them just being in each other's company

Title The On1y One Spoiler
You know it's a good slow-burn when every scene is so mesmerizing and even a hug can be filled with so many emotions
I feel like Tian has waited his whole life for someone to tell him "welcome home" and for him to really feel that comforting feeling of being home. For Tian, home doesn't seem to be a house, but a person. I swear, when it's just the two of them, it's like there's nobody else in the world, but them

We're on episode 9 and Ryan and Jane barely got any closer. They are focusing too much on the side stories. If they wanted to present the pov of each character while also showing some insights into the production business, at least they could've made this series longer

Anyone else creeped out with a 25 year old playing a 15/16 year old ? Just wondering because I don’t find it…
If he can pull that off, I don't see a problem with that. I mean it's nothing new for an adult to play the role of a teenager. There are so many american tv series and movies that do that and they don't even fit that role. It's really not that unusual, for example, Jessica Barden from The End of the F***ing World also played a high school student and she was in her late 20s (and she pulled it off, she was very believable). I understand that it's good to play a variety of roles, but like you said, most of the thai series are targeted towards teenagers and young adults, so I think a setting that is familiar to them is more appealing. But I'm sure that he will get the chance to play a variety of roles as well. And like the others said, he already played some mature roles - both in the sense of age range and emotional depth. The level of pain that he had to display in UWMA was really hard to watch.
