Title 4Minutes
I think it was either Greats mum that did something or my top guess the Dad. I don't put anything past the parasite…
That would be such a good idea. It ties everything up nicely too. All of my sad boys would be on the same team and people would finally stop slandering Korn's good name. He's a good person I swear.

Title 4Minutes Spoiler
I just had a crazy realization. The guy who shot Great and his mom was the person that Mani (the lady that Great hit with his car in episode 1) payed. HOWEVER, if Great's 4 minutes power isn't real and this is just him reliving the original timeline and wishing he could have changed things than she wouldn't be alive to have them killed. How can killing Mani be one of the things Great regrets while she is also the reason that he is dying? If the changed timeline is the real one then Dome should be alive. If it's not than Nan would have never exposed the family and Mani wouldn't have paid the guy to shoot Great and his mom. WHAT IS REAL??? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON????

Since when has 4minutes been on IQIYI. I went on there to watch a different series and there it was being promoted on the home page banner. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there last week since I watched the previous episode of This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans. I thought I was trippin' but I just double checked and it's still there.

Did anyone else get the vibe that Great's mom had something to do with Korn's mom's death. The way she talked about how she worked so hard to get the two of them to the privileged position they are in now was pretty ominous. It felt like she was subtly implying that she removed Korn's mom from the picture so that Great can take Korn's place as the favorite son.

GOD DAMMIT. So we ARE in the bad timeline. I didn't want to believe it at first but there's no denying it now. Does that mean that Great never actually changed anything? Was it all just wishful thinking while he's on his deathbed? Did Great and Tyme never actually meet? They only met because Great changed the timeline so they shouldn't remember each other. Right? Is the true reality somewhere in the middle? Tyme's outfit in the last scene was the same one from the beginning of the first episode where he gets shot. There are still 3 episodes left so I don't think they'll die in the net episode so they must get out of this somehow. THEY BETTER. I swear to GOD Sammon if you kill off / separate Great and Tyme after they have only been a couple for barely an episode I will curse your entire bloodline with the tummy hurties.

WE FINALLY GOT GREATTYME!!!! My hopes were kind of dashed when they had the first NC scene because I didn’t think they’d have two NC scenes in one episode. When they had the second scene I was like “dang I guess I have to wait another week for GreatTyme because there’s no way they’d have THREE NC scenes in one episode … right?”. I have never been so happy to be wrong. The first word that comes to my mind when I think about that scenes is BEAUTIFUL. The cinematography, the lighting, the acting was all so beautiful. Jes’s acting in this scene was so good. Before the first kiss when he leans in to fix Great’s air you can see on his face that he wants to kiss him so bad but he’s hesitating. It feels like he starts with the forehead kiss to test the waters and does the little nose bite to break the tension. Their face acting is so good. Tyme’s face is saying “Should I? Do you want this?” and Great’s is saying “Come a little closer. I’m waiting.”. Great is just so open and eager. The way he looked at Tyme’s eyes then lips then eyes again. When they finally do kiss Great is leaning in for more and Tyme has to hold Great back because he doesn’t want to rush. I was squealing and kicking my feet. You have no idea. I really liked that it was slow and sweet because it’s such a nice change of pace from what we’ve been getting. We did get a similar sweet love scene with Tonkla and Korn earlier in the episode but they each have their own charm. That one part where Tyme asks why Great hasn’t taken his pants off and Great tells him that his legs are in the way is so precious. That one shot of Tyme between Great’s legs and Great has his hand on Tyme waist and it shows off Bible’s tattoos. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! While I don’t like looking into people’s eyes, close up shots of people looking directly into the camara makes me very uncomfy (perhaps it’s the tism), their faces were my favorite part of the scenes. Their bodies are great too lol.
My only complaint is that they didn’t really get to know each other before this outside of their one date. They could have gotten to know each other off screen since it’s probably been a few weeks I just wish we were able to see more of that on screen.

I’M A GENIUS! Not only was I right about the 4 minutes being between the time the heart stops and the time the brain dies but also that there are two timelines. I should have never doubted myself. There’s still the issue of Korn and where he fits into the timeline. As far as I can tell Korn is one of two characters that have definitely appeared in both timelines. Everything he does with Great and Tonkla match, up leaving Kla in the first episode to have dinner with his family, Kla blowing up his phone, and getting attacked by Tyme and having the injury present when he goes to Kla’s house. It’s totally possible that we are seeing two different versions of Korn when he’s with Kla and Great and the things that appear to line up are just misdirection.

The other character that has appeared in both timelines is Mod. She’s the one who confronts Title about View in class, she gives Great the tea that Tyme brought him, and she is the one who Win talks to about the comment saying that everyone knows who killed Dome. I’m more willing to accept that there are two versions of her since she is a minor character but I feel like she’s worth mentioning since not many people have pointed that out.

Clearly the timelines have already diverged since Dome is dead in Kla’s timeline but after the scene at the end of episode 4 with Kla and Dome I feel like Kla might be able to perceive the changes Great has made in some way. This is probably one of my more out there theories because it’s totally possible that he was hallucinating. I just don’t think that they would have these two timeline that
never converge. There has to be a point where the two worlds collide.

Title 4Minutes Spoiler
So ... Tonkla. Lord Jesus help this man.

First of all WHO IS HIS BROTHER???? When I tell you I was losing my mind in episode two waiting to see the photo of the brother. I swear if the brother ends up being some rando I will be writing a strongly worded letter to BOC about how disappointed I am. I saw some people saying that his brother is Title or Dome but both of them are alive. At least they are in Great's timeline. A really interesting theory I've seen is that Great and Tonkla's stories are happening in parallel but in different timelines. For example people suggested that at the beginning of episode 2 Tonkla was killing Title because in Tonkla's timeline Title did kill Dome. I would agree with this theory if it wasn't for Korn. He has interacted with Great and Tonkla and everything seems to match up for them to be in the same timeline. Although it is possible that Korn does the same things in both timelines.

While his relationship with Korn seems to be genuine I think Tonkla is a bit suspicious. He's not being honest about everything with Korn since he hides things like cigarettes from him. Also he insists on working long hours even though Korn would happily be his sugar daddy. At first I just thought he wanted to have his own income and not rely just on Korn but after watching episode 3 I think he wants the extra money for drugs. When he pulled the pipe from the drawer I though it was a bong like most people but when they showed the inside of the drawer there was a little baggy. At first I was like "oh no he's doing coke" but when I looked closer it looked more like tiny shards of glass than a powder. THIS MAN IS ON CRYSTAL METH!!!! The gasp I gusped. When I tell you my jaw was on the floor. This show is SO HEAVY with its subject matter.

This also complicates him cheating on Korn. I already explained why I think Korn isn’t that bad for having sex with Fai but Tonkla clearly cheated on Korn with Win (if they’re exclusive, that’s still kind of blurry). Also, why is this man obsessed with raw dogging? I’m pretty sure when he asked Win to go raw he said something like “I’m on prep” or something like that. While I am not one of you sex havers I do know what prep is. Is it common for someone who are not positive or regularly having sex with someone who is positive to be on prep? If he is positive maybe that is why Korn and Win don’t want to have unprotected sex with him. Maybe they’re being prejudiced even though he isn’t infectious (transmittable?). If that’s not the case it would be so funny that they’re being responsible but Tonkla is just FEINDING for some raw meat.

I love how fai and tonkla were trying to seduce korn like yes this man deserves to be wanted this bad
I disagree that Fai is seducing Korn. It feels more like he was being coerced into sex after her father helped him with the crisis at the gambling place. He looked so uncomfortable to me. His body language felt stiff, his smile felt forced and he didn't want to look at her. Her behavior felt less like seduction and more like a signal. And when Korn was undressing for her it didn't feel like he wanted to.

Just a comment on the "korn' mother suicide"... Korns mother can not be the woman who Great hit cause she said…
I don't think they're the same person. It's just a parallel. They have similar stories.

This series has me hooked, especially after that ending of episode 3. Does anyone know if this series is adapted…

Obviously Korn is an integral part of the story as since his involvement in the gambling operation is likely what causes the bad ending we saw in the first episode. At this point Korn is the only person that has interacted with both Great and Tonkla. Korn even left from Tonkla's house in the first episode to go have dinner with Great and their parents so I'm pretty sure they're in the same timeline. Speaking of Korn's parents, I was expecting his mom to be dead but finding out she killed herself is interesting. It draws parallels to the lady Great hit with his car in the first episode. A suicidal mother to a son. I've seen some people side eyeing Korn for how he yelled at and then ignored Tonkla and had sex with Fasai but I think Korn has genuine feelings for Tonkla. The way he is so affectionate and cuddly and HAPPY with Tonkla feels so real. That might just be Bas being a great actor playing a character who is lying but I choose to believe it's Korn. Yes he did yell at Tonkla on the phone but it was clearly I high stress situation. That scene also shows that Korn doesn't want to spend time with Fasai and her dad. When the manager asks if he should call the uncle for help, Korn frantically says no because he knows what will happen if he asks a favor from him. In the scene where Korn and Fasai are in the hotel room alone he is clearly uncomfortable. She tells him that he can always ask for her help but it seams like a quid pro quo type of deal. Whenever he asks for help he has to have sex with her. He even seems to dissociate when he starts undressing for her. Also there might be an element of fear of people finding out that he's into guys. I'm just saying Korn is a more sympathetic character than some of y'all think.

Title 4Minutes Spoiler
I literally made an account here because this show has consumed my brain and I need to talk to someone about it.

So, I have a theory. At the beginning of the first episode we see someone, most likely Great, being rushed into the hospital and he ends up flat-lining (cardiac arrest). According to the NHS website the brain can survive for 3 to 4 minutes after the heart stops. Dr. Den also mentions that one of the patients he is studying said that every time she felt her heart stop she saw 4 minutes into the future. My theory is that Great's (the one in the hospital) heart stopped at 11 and that's why our Great is seeing every clock at 11. The time he is seeing is the time in the hospital and the time going from 11:00 to 11:01 to 11:02 is the time getting closer and closer to that critical 4 minutes. Hospital Great is sending the visions of the future to our Great so that he can change his future and not have him die and possibly save Tyme in the process. I think it's clear at this point that Korn's illegal activities is what gets them to the bad future we see in the first episode since we see Tyme dying in the abandon area where they do the gambling but that story hasn't converged with Great yet.

There are two ways this is possible. Either our Great and hospital Great are on separate timelines and hospital Great is destined to die but he is giving our Great the chance to make better choices. OR, our Great and hospital Great are the same person on the same timeline but at different times and hospital Great is reaching into his own past.

I'm still wondering how the other patient who could see the future factors into this. We see her with Great in his mind palace (I'm just going to call it that) so I'm wondering if she's some kind of wise sage who is going to guide Great. Also, why is future Great so determined to send visions of him and Tyme getting down and dirty? Is he just determined to drive the point home that they are meant to be together and he thought the best way to do that was to show how great (ha) Tyme is in bed. Honestly I'm not complaining since that's the most intimacy we've seen between those characters thus far. Tonkla is cute and his story is compelling (I'll get to that in another post) but it feels like the show is TOO focused on him. Maybe he plays a bigger role than we know at this point or maybe Jes and Bible weren't comfortable doing more NC scenes (which is fare) so we are being given other couples to hold us over. Either way I'm invested in this show like I haven't been with any other show in a VERY long time and I can't wait for next Friday.
