I didn't read stuff online but I watched last episode & thinking he died. She went to the tree they planted together & waiting for him. Suddenly he showed up riding the horse, that part I thought she is dreaming. The way the writer did that it's an open ending & let's the viewers pick. If he died make more scene since he was the last one on the battle field, they didn't show help coming but more enemies were approaching.

I love this drama, I enjoy listening to the conversation. There are some part is annoying for sure because of the character. This drama is a 10/10 for me in many levels - Susu's past was the hardest, no child should go through that.
