I don’t watch republican drama but this one is good. I don’t know anything about China history but the story seems to make sense. I didn’t like they killed Shen Jin Shen character. Overall the drama is a 9/10.

Mother is annoying so I skipped some of her screen time. I enjoyed the slow burn relationship between two leads, they are cute together. I like Xu Kai here - adorable:) not everyone’s cup of tea which is ok.
