I don’t read novels, don’t like reading so only watch. I enjoy the drama so far, no expectations. In the beginning I thought oh teenager drama but I keep watching because I adore Zhao Lusi & story isn’t bad, not boring. Watching them growing up like watching myself back in the days so I really like the story. I thought Lusi did a great job in this role, she is young enough for the role as a teenager. If another female lead play the role, this type of drama I wouldn’t watch it. I prefer costume drama but some modern drama are good, I watch too.

Too old so do I….Teenager years has long gone lol Gen Z doesn’t have much romance & I find it boring. I have seen drama no romance but the story is so good that I cannot skip scene. I just like Lusi a lot but I didn’t complete Hutong either…boring story.

The story isn’t exiting at first, just typical teenager drama but as you watch more episodes, the innocent love story as a teenager will get you (at least for me). I think a high school student & like someone is older like college or already started working isn’t acceptable. However, once you are older it’s totally fine dating someone much older. I actually chose someone older than I am. I found if someone my age is too immature for me especially I was in college already lol In general, guys grow up slower than girls.
