I think it is clear that jiyeon is not attracted to taehwan. I mean she made it obvious when she told him to choose…
i mean she was jealous that he was talking to hae-rin at the dinner and felt like he didn't really look at her much. i feel like that made her feel a bit uncertain about his intentions towards her. she wants to be sure that he genuinely doesn't have his eyes on anyone but her. ji-yeon seems very interested but also does not want to get hurt. she said it's not a test, but it obviously is.
why are y'all acting like this is a rom-com... they show a teeny bit of human emotion and immediately the show sucks? PLEASE stop acting like romance is the main theme of the entire show. y'all are literally missing the fact that a large portion of the show is based on true war crimes committed by the japanese.
can someone explain to me if Cho is the surname? I mean why are Cho Yon Pil and Cho Sam Dal sharing the same name?…
in most cases, when koreans marry the wife does not take the husband's last name and instead keeps their own. so, it is likely that they were both just born with the same last name:) (however there may still be something that has not revealed that could also explain this)
for anyone wondering whether or not they should watch it; i think you should atleast give it a try! as of this comment there are only 4 episodes and i feel like there is a lot more to the story than what has been revealed. so, if you're thinking about watching, go for it!
there's a lot of renowned actors/actresses in it, as well as, some new faces. overall, everyone is playing their roles to their best abilities. if you happen to dislike a character, just know that the actors/actresses are doing their jobs!
