I'm really enjoying this drama and loving the second ml syndrome, binge watched it in a day.
But I'm so sick and tired of them making fl weak in Chinese/Korean dramas, she went from bad ass to a defenseless sad excuse for a "master" or more like a learning book for Uk. Don't get me wrong I like her anyways, she's funny and not naive, but why did they have to take her power away for?? When are they gonna give her back her power? In the last episode to defend Uk when he's at the brick of death? Lol

Its kinda tragic but they manage to give them a very sweet happy ending (not an open ending, a happy ending)

P.S the "tragic" part doesn't really have anything to do with homophobia so they were clearly together at the end

tbh its fine if the ending isn't that good since I simple want something to distract myself when I have a lot of freetime, if you compare the ending to Misty then I know what to expect but its okay as long as most of the episodes are interesting to watch. Heard it Through the Grapevine is another drama that has been recommended a lot today so I'll definitely have it as a high priority on my list

Don't waste your time shipping FL with SML, in dramas like this the SML is only a tool to be used when FL needs him, and there's no ounce of hope for them to end up together

If you haven't started watching this drama yet, I suggest you to watch it but DO NOT LOOK AT THE COMMENTS FIRST! This drama is really fun and enjoyable, finally something to help me move on from The Penthouse but this drama does not have any unknown "plot twists," its very predictable so reading spoilers about an already predictable plot may ruin the fun for you.

I know that Seo Yea Ji gets a lot of badass crazy female lead roles in kdramas, but they took her character's "crazy and bad ass" to a whole new level of insane which I'm not against.

Also to people complaining about the FL/ML not having any chemistry and just together bc of lust (which isn't untrue), makjang melodramas like this aren't usually focused on a fluffy romance but on crazy characters, revenge, corruption, cheaters, mental illnesses, fucked up rich people, etc. I watch this sort of genre bc I enjoy the thrill of the mind games and playing each other like chess, I don't expect any romance and even if there's romance idc bc dramas like this were never focused on the romance itself

And still flirting with women after he married her also means he still finds his own WIFE a KID? Yes at that time Chinese men had more than one wife especially if they're a king for political reasons, but in Ning Que's case, he's neither a king nor is his character driven towards a "harem," his character is driven towards choosing "one love" but he keeps switching between that calligraphy addict and Sang Sang. Reminded me of Nut from The Miracle of Teddy Bear, a turn off.

If I was Tofu, I'd hate my life even after I'm "dead,' we know that Tofu can think and communicate with other objects even in his teddy bear form, so he isn't really dead, and keeping him around to see Nut's honey moon with coma boy is just so dumb and cruel lol

Realistic stories? Yes I watch realistic dramas, currently watching one called Resurrection which is painfully realistic and I still like it.

You're speaking so strongly about my comment when I literally just said why I like watching dramas in general. Can't have a friendly chat without being hostile? Fine.
But how can you expect us to take the the ending as "realistic" seriously when the whole plot is literally about a TEDDY BEAR coming alive and having sex with a human, literally at that point all realistic expectations should have been put aside.

This comment explains all my feelings about the ending, there's nothing romantic about making a character extremely selfless to the point he can't even have happiness and just watch others be happy.

And Nat making love with his coma boy in front of Tofu is the biggest thing I'm concerned about. if I was Tofu I'd haunt and murder both if I see my significant other making love with someone else in front of my "corpse" lmao
