The female lead is finally pregnant then gets confined by the gods in a temple where she can't see the outside or meet anyone for years which means she also can't raise or take care of her newborn child so he had to be raised by his dad's relatives. Okay I understand that the female lead couldn't do anything about her punishment by the gods but why didn't her husband take care and raise their child instead?? The husband just literally abandoned their child with his sister and brother in law then travelled around the world in all the years his wife was confined. Then the husband finally shows up after the son and green snake/dragon save the female lead from confinment.
Then instead of the female lead and her husband greeting the child they never raised or saw since birth, they go together "oh hey husband/wife our love is eternal" and go sightseeing together. What an ending! What about your child you morons!!

Since it was all packed in just 6 episodes, I understand how it could be confusing especially if some scenes were skipped or missed. I usually skip through in dramas but didn't in this one.
Actually if you go back to the episode where Jin Soo (the first cult priest who claimed he was a prophet sent by god) kidnapped the investigator's daughter to lure him in meeting him, then he explained that those monsters sent him a message around 2004 or so- that he'll be bounded to hell in 2021, he didn't think its fair because he never sinned so he made a false story that these monsters were sent by god to kill bad people (even though the monsters don't care if you're bad or good).
He did this thinking it'll put fear in people and force them to only do good, he thinks it will make the world peaceful, but he was wrong since it became chaos. After he confessed this story to the investigator, we see him getting killed by those monsters in front of the investigator, the cult hide the fact that Jin Soo (the supposed prophet) was also killed by the monsters. Then there will be a time skip to a year or so later, and that's where there's a group who knows the truth that these monsters weren't sent by god, and they worked to protect the people who are "bounded to hell" from getting harassed or exploited by that cult and the Arrowhead.
We still don't know what those monsters are until season 2, but for now- what we know is that the monsters weren't really sent by god at all, and that the monsters choose their victims at random not sparing even newborn babies.

They were using the excuse of the prophecy being after bad people so that they show their true bully-self freely and commit crimes with the name of god. Basically the cult and Arrowhead people are much worse than those monsters.
This drama deserves a high rating imo, I was so invested in it and was one of my favorite auring dramas. Why would idols want to "get rid of prejudice" by wearing a mask and especially during a game that requires them to be active? They're idols for a reason, they'er social influenzers, being open and not hiding is part of their character. I've never seen an idol who's insecure about their looks that they prefer wearing a mask. No, people who don't like what happened aren't annoying, this was extreme. Not showing the idols faces from beginning to end even after the game was over unless they "won" is stupid and extreme. Maybe you dropped the drama before it was told thatthe Hulks weren't sent by "God" to kill the bad people, we still don't know what the hulk's purpose is yet since it'll be told in season 2. But what we know from season one is that the "prophet guy" who claimed the Hulks were sent by God to kill bad people confessed that its a lie he made up because he couldn't understand why they "bounded him to hell" years before that he'll die later in 2021, which he did, he got killed by the hulks too shortly before he died.
Also in the last episode, the Hulks bound a newborn baby to "hell," and try to kill him but fail since the parents protected the baby, and after that people realized that the "New Truth" cult is fake and stopped believing that the hulks were coming after the "bad people" or that they are sent by god, since the hulks were after random people.
Also the hulks killed the people not for adultery or the bad things they did, its the New Truth cult who made false lies about why the hulks killed those people so they can make people believe that the Hulks were sent by God to go after bad people.

The situation here with the New Truth cult, Police not doing anything, and the Arrowhead bully group who kill and assault people with the excuse that they're "doing the right thing by getting rid of bad people" is literally the same exact thing as what happened in the Devil Judge drama. So I don't understand why it was more accepted in the other drama but called "chaotic" only in this drama, it was equally as chaotic in the Devil Judge drama too. I've watched Running Man ever since it started airing so I've seen every single episode of So Min ever since she joined. But I never got to watch any of her dramas simply because I start dramas at random when I find something interesting and not specifically for the actors. So Min is like a sister to me, she's very innocent and cute. It was very weird seing her act as a mistress lmao, I kept thinking of her as the same harmless innocent Soo Min. Glad I get to finally see her act on screen since I was almost convinced that she's a comedian because I only know her from Running Man lol.
