What even! What kinda stupid logic you got! People watched and told about how they felt about this show. So what's…
I guess you never wrote essays your entire life. My comment was barely a paragraph long. Can't users comment freely on a community forum?? Isn't this what a forum is for?
What even! What kinda stupid logic you got! People watched and told about how they felt about this show. So what's…
Lmao why are you so mad that I said I'll choose to watch dramas without looking at the ratings or comments so that I don't get biased by feel about the dramas which might make me get a bad impression of the dramas?
I think people just excepted something better after all the CRAZY hype. Its not a regular drama with a real plot,…
Its really good but people are so mad that season 1 ends with a cliffhanger, its like a 12-16 episode kdrama but split into 2 seasons because Neflix likes to split every kdrama they partner with into multiple seasons.
People are complaining that it ended with the mystry not completely explained, but the end of season 1 is just halfway through the drama, if the mystry is explained early on then it'll be less interesting because there would be nothing more to guess.
It's worth the watch but only think of it as half the drama, since season 2 is still in production. Season 1 barely finishing airing a week ago, usually there's a few months to a year between seasons
Sadly the drama is extremely poorly recieved overall. It will most likely end up at like 5.0 on IMDB. Sweet Home…
Lmao no I won't lose hope for a season 2 just because of some pessimistic watchers that fail to understand its meaning. It was 2 days ago when the plans for season 2 were mentioned, you wanna dismiss that based on your "intuition"?
Okay I get it, most kdrama watchers pm MDL don't like this type of drama but its exactly the cup of tea for American watchers, I doubt Netflix will give up on it when they already put so much into its production whether some watchers like it or not- doesn't define the majority
I really enjoyed this drama, every single bit of it. I came here to look for season 2 but then saw the comments of people saying dumb shit about it like how it doesn't make sense. I thought it would be obvious that this drama will have a season 2 since the first season obviously ended with a cliff hanger. This drama is partnered with Netflix, and all kdramas appearing on Netflix these days are spilt into seasons such as "Kingdom," because people who watch Netflix aren't used to long episodes like us.
Just searched and the plans for season 2 easily showed up, read the article yourself instead of making this drama sound like garbage to curious people. Netflix only chooses the best kdramas to partner with like Kingdom and Squid games. Hate on it all you want but this is going to be popular everywhere else.
This season finished airing not even a week ago, and already not patient for the 2nd season? Lmao people make me mad
I really liked this drama and didn't mind Ning Que and Sang Sang to be lovers since when he first found her, they were both kids/minors, they both took turns raising each other, and they only had a 5 year gap, and Ning Que only showed signs of intimate attraction to Sang Sang when they were both teenagers (18 and 13). But what the writers made Sang Sang say in the last episode "Ning Que even changed my diapers" while talking about hoe he's the love of her life really turned me off. We know that Ning Que obviously had to take care of her diapers when she was a baby but why mention it when she's talking about why she LOVES him? What a turn off, ruined 2 seasons for me.
Another thing, Ning Que's flirty personality really irritated me, he had Sang Sang tied to him while he flirts with any woman cultivator he meets, and kept that calligraphy addict hanging by his side the whole time, he didn't even bother to hide his feelings for her till the last time they met even after he married Sang Sang. Disgusting.
I feel hat the writers are really misogynist, in so many instances they treated women like sexual objects, dumb, not fit to rule, etc.
What really pissed me off was when Ning Que and Sang Sang hiding in the Wastlands, the Wasteland people fighting big armies and dying from young to old to save Ning Que and Sang Sang's life while they're just sitting in the carriage watching "what a pity, the living must go on," like LMAO just get off your ass and help them fight!
I don't see how Ning Que and Sang Sang are more important than any other person or cultivator that many people and sages had to die and sacrifice for them. Many people died because of Sang Sang for both being the child of Hades/decessed and the child of light, for what?? All she did was act cute and dumb and didn't really contribute much besides her significance to Ning Que, a;; she did was help Ning Que a couple of times in fights then get sick again after one try and the cycle goes on again with people dying just to cure her sickness.
After all that sacrifice, she becomes a static useless character again when Haotian comes to earth and just watches from the sidelines as Ning Que flirts and tries to please her "other self" that isn't really her, but that's what Ning Que is good at, flirting with women in front of Sang Sang.
They said Fuzi Sage will come back after they take care of the formation and that temple Sage then completely forgot about him by dragging SOOO many episodes on Ning Que trying to please Haotian/Sang Sang.
The only thing I liked about season 2 is Ning Que's new actor which performs emotion much better than the previous guy
I don't regret it though, having been delaying myself from watching this but finally did.
Season 1 was more interesting which is why it took me 4-5 days to finish binge watching since I didn't skip. But season 2 took me less than 1 day since I was done with its bullshit by the time I was around ep 20 and started skipping like hell to only see Ning Que's parts that actually are doing something important, skipped everything else.
Am I the only one who is uncomfortable with the relationship with an adult male to a child? Feels so wrong. #TeamBookAddict
And adult with a child? How?? In season 1 Ning Que was 18, Sang Sang was 13. Both were teenagers at the time they started to show actual romantic feelings. Only a 5 year gap. If I were to compare their age to modern time, Ning Que would have been a senior in high school and Sang Sang would have been a freshmen in high school. You never saw senior and freshmen high schoolers date before? Well not in my book.
So tired of people talking about their trivial 5 year gap. People irl have 12 age gap. And the time he found her as baby, he was still a kid himself, just like how he raised her in her first years, she also raised him.
All this fuss about their age is whats making me so uncomfortable!
The page edits' approval team are so annoying, I went through the trouble of adding the main genre in this drama "supernatural" and tags: foresee death, see visions, see death. And wrote an explanation that the main element all these deaths and happenings in the drama revolve around a supernatural element such as ghosts/spirits, hallucinations/visionary spells. And that one of the main leads' "supernatural power" is to see visions and past/future deaths. Then my edits got rejected twice and told me: "Reason: No reason, source, or explanation was given why the tags you added are relevant to this title and why they need to be added to the tags list."
I'm just trying to be of help, why not even try to understand why I requested these edits? And my explanation wasn't enough? Oh okay... I'll never waste my time again contributing my time to update pages with relevant information when all they do is dismiss my suggestions and explanations as if I haven't provided any.
Don't worry, I'll keep my "irrelevant" help to myself in the future.
This should have supernatural in the main genre since the plot literally revolves around it, and "vision seeing" in the tags, also why is "ghosts" in the tags marked as a spoiler, damn that's stupid and the first time I've seen it happen in a drama
I love this drama, it has The Penthouse vibes and strategies. I'm currently watching more than one airing drama and believe this drama deserves a higher rating than the current top airing shows such as One The Woman, I like that drama as well but much more is going on with this drama. It never leaves me bored or waiting, its also fast paced and more than one character is involved with a bad background or history they're trying to hide; whereas One The Woman only focuses on the main two characters and leaves the rest of the characters looking dumb.
If you haven't started it yet, you should give it a try. Very similar elements as the Penthouse, whether its the craziness, prestigious selective school, and obviously that revival element which The Penthouse is popular for but I won't add to that or it'll be a spoiler.

Dramas/movies I watched from this list:
1. Move To Heaven 2. Swing Kids 3. The Legends 4. Graceful Family 5. Mine 6. Legend of FuYao 7. Evernight 8. The Long Ballad I removed these watched dramas from the list to make it easier for me
Lmao...I understand enough if ssr got depressed or guilt BUT if she really guilt, she must try to be the kids's…
Yeah her choice to suicide can't be justified no matter how much I think about it, it makes no sense. They just made so many kids into orphans, she even has another child who is dependent on her as well (the fake daughter that Dan Tae used as a replacement while drugging her to stay in bed for years, when she woke up she only has Soo Ryeon). Just glad its over, it made me lose so much brain cells lol.
1. Joo Dan Tae is not alive lol. Even the restaurant owner confirmed that man's story. He was just a poor guy…
Lmao I love how you made a comment to counter-attack every single point I made, you must have a lot of time. Also feeling guilt doesn't equal clinical depression.
Couldn't help but notice and count all the faults in the last episode:
1. Joo Dan Tae is hinted to be alive at around 26 minutes (that homeless man Soo Kyeong felt sorry for at the resturant she works at), she realized it was him when he asked "how you eaten?" with a smirk and looked terrified. They exploded an entired 100 story building to kill him off yet he's still alive? LMAO
2. Why would Soo Kyeong be working part-time jobs and living as a commoner while her brother dresses prestigously and has money enough to buy a house for his girfriend Rona in another country just to use when she does performances there or visits?
3. Seojin is a repetitive murderer and fugitive and lied about having mental illnesses to trick the system, yet they let her leave prison for 3 days to visit her daughter just after 3 years of prison time without anyone even keeping an eye on her?? And why is that female officer showing sympathy for Seojin? LOL
4. Before watching this episode I read the comments and thought Soo Ryun will commit suicide from being sad that Logan died so I thought its ridiculous that they're turning it into a "Romeo and Juliet" thing. But no, it was more ridiculous since Soo Ryun actually killed herself by pretending Seo Jin was pushing her into the lake when Soo Ryun did that intentionally and ignored the life-saving jacket that Logan gave her. This doesn't make any sense at all since at that point she had completed her revenge, learned that she has a real daughter who's alive just days ago, (and the other "fake" daughter that is also dependent on her), Logan was healthy and alive waiting to marry her, she got everything she wants, but still decided to die at then anyways?? Doesn't make sense.
For anyone who's confused, Logan dies WAY AFTER Soo Ryun dies, she dies when she fell from the cliff into the water, Logan dies way afterwards from neglecting his cancer treatments.
Now her REAL daughter has no one but herself for financial support and has to work part-time jobs, meanwhile the brother got the inhertince from Dan Tae and Soo Ryun??
5. So many talented students were at that school who wanted to be singers, but ONLY Rona becomes a professional singer and gets a long flowery happy ending?
Something tells me this while drama was actually about Rona
6. Also I'm so pissed off that Soo Ryeon's suicide wasn't out of depression but "guilt" that many people got hurt or died because of Joo Dan Tae and Soo Jin, so her suicde was a sort of an extreme "apology," while Soo Jin's suicide was to not be a "burden" on her daughter, lmao her daughter doesn't even remember her. Anyways suicide isn't this easy, people don't just decide to kill themselves just because they feel "sorry" or like a "burden" somwhat, people who commit suicide are very depressed, broken and have no one that would care. Meanwhile these two women have FATHERLESS CHILDREN, but decided to make them complete ORPHANS. WTF
Lmao I'm glad Soo Hyun's character died a bit early, have been waiting for this. Found her character tp be so unnecessary and annoying. She's such a nuisance and pokes her nose in other people's business/choices too much. And finally that female judge is being a bit less stupid.
People are complaining that it ended with the mystry not completely explained, but the end of season 1 is just halfway through the drama, if the mystry is explained early on then it'll be less interesting because there would be nothing more to guess.
