I hope people are paying attention to the drama because it has been mentioned multiple times that they had a crush on each other for a while. In the drama they were older when they became adopted siblings. Just to address one of the comments, the FL didn’t just switch her feelings like that, she has been holding her feelings in for a long time because of the issue that they are adopted siblings. They are very aware they come from different families. I could see it being weird if they were babies and didn’t realize the adoption til they were older. Plus if I had a hot adopted brother like Johnny who wouldn’t want to be with him. Lol can’t judge the situation until your in it.

Lol it would be quite interesting to watch Hu Yi Tian in something similar to 50 shades of grey!

Thanks maybe I will just watch this drama. I really like the leads of Ruyi Pavilion also and it’s watchable. The second leads again so far have better chemistry and better romance story. I feel the back stories are too overdone!

Trying to figure out if this drama is worth investing in. Started watching the blooms at Ruyi Pavilion and it’s so draggy. Just so blah and nothing exciting happening.

This drama is a little draggy for me. I’m on episode 9 and it’s so blah. I really like the actors in this drama but I don’t understand how this drama can have 40 episodes. I’m 9 episodes in and it has a bunch of fillers. I can see they are trying hard to tell a story but it’s so blah.

I would say your correct on this point about low quality productions! There are very few good ones. Productions these days think that they can make money by putting good looking people in a drama and have some romance here and there without a quality script. To be honest lots of people fall for these tropey type of dramas.

The FL is beautiful, but what’s up with the ugly hair!? They could of made the FL character a little more mature. I’m so over the childish characters!!

The novel is much better. FL is blind and ML falls in love with her by playing tricks on her. That’s how their relationship develops. Also in the novel the ML works hard for his money and is very financially conservative but not trying to get a cent out of everyone. I wish they would stuck to the novel.

The ML does not match the FL at all. The ML is supposed to be this badass jewel hunter and not some nerdy boy. I wish they could of found someone similar to Zhu Yilong to play the ML. Some of these dramas need better casting!

Why do they have to make the FL hair so ugly? Yes, she is a beautiful girl who can still be naive and innocent with a better hair cut! Why do production people think that by give girls ugly hair would make them look more innocent. WTH, also why are the “evil” second female leads are better dressed and cooler. I don’t like how some of these dramas portray women!

They have ruined the uniqueness of this Webnovel. I do not like how they portray Long Yue in this drama. I can’t believe they turned Long Yue into a greedy character that is cringeworthy. Xing Zhao Ling is better than this. The scenes are all over the place and the videography is awful! The first 2 episode gave me motion sickness!

Yes that’s a shame! You know it seems like this age gap thing is such a taboo in the Asian culture that really affects the actors ability to portray their characters. It almost seems like they are fearful of the audience’s backlash. I’m pretty sure the directors/producers are trying their best to create chemistry without it being cringy! But it just turns out being really awkward instead of allowing a more natural chemistry to happen.

Yes! Dylan is very handsome! I think those roles really suit him, also I really like Shen Yue too.
