I loved the older version of MG. I watched the first couple of episodes of the remake of MG and it was good, but not attention grabbing. I’ll continue it just for Darren Chen. Thanks for the reminder. I can watch him read the newspaper all day. Lol

I am officially watching this drama for Derren Chen. He is too cute!! I no longer care about the storyline. This is my first Darren Chen drama and I can’t help but gush over all his adorable expressions. How could you not fall in love with him. Lol

I would say watch it. The storyline is great the character build up is good. If they would of added just a couple more episodes I think the ending would of ended better. I’m hoping for a season two to give some closure. Overall I think it’s worth watching.

I feel like a lot of Chinese drama now a days have really spotty plots! Unnecessary additions and then rush the end. These editors need to do a much better job. I feel like their pushing out dramas just for the heck of it! Sad ? this could of been so much better!

The drama has a pretty good storyline but one thing I don’t like is the leads have way too much time with the supporting actors! Bai lu and Xu kai barely has any scenes together and I’m in ep 30 already. It annoys the hell out of me. Bai lu has better chemistry with jun shan than xu kai and their relationship is more developed! Xu Kai spends more time with man ting. It’s ridiculous and a waste of film. I’m hoping that the last 20 episodes will have Xu kai and bai lu developing some sort of relationship instead of a few mins here bickering about nothing!!
