New Personal Favorite
I’m a bit too close to this show emotionally to pick it apart at the moment, especially given that it just ended yesterday, but I will say this. My experience of watching this show has reminded me of a time when I was a kid, I think elementary school aged. I was home from school because I was sick. I was on the final book in a series I was reading and really loving. I specifically remember sitting on my old couch in my childhood home, so engrossed in the end of this story that I forgot how bad I was feeling. And then I finished it, and I cried so hard that I scared my mom. I was just so sad that it was over. I haven’t had an experience like that in years (I’m in my 30s now), but I had that experience with this show. Absolutely 100% one of the best shows I have ever watched, and I’m devastated that it’s over.
