I'm only half way through episode one but i had to say something. was anyone else really put off by jeongin's attitude towards her boyf when they were in the car? she was so frustrating to listen to. kiseok needs to get out of that relationship just like his dad said. not just so he can get married but for his own happiness. he's a bit too nice to jeongin and she's already lying about jiho for no reason. that's a red flag for how you view your relationship. :// i hope she becomes more likeable lol but just from 30 minutes i'm tired of her. on a separate note, i'm so happy jiho's a single dad. i hope we see more of the kid in this drama cause usually kids are a second thought.
The biggest problem I also had was two college educated professionals are almost clueless on common sense things…
you're absolutely right about the cheating, it was really stupid of them to not talk through it or have a third party in on it. i still think the pressure to have kids came much later. either way they had a lot of shit piling up on their shoulders and it was dumb how they didn't think of dealing with it properly.

except none of it was about having kids... actual fertility issues aren't the problem either. it was the pressure they received from everyone about having a conventional sex life and how that impacts the way people think you should act towards kids that aren't your own. kumi's dilemma was really about how people would see her as some sort of deviant and how that translates into her teaching, AND clearly the generational difference of opinion in what love is and whether having children is the result of actual love etc. this drama was a lot more complex than you're giving it credit for. i agree that they should've just gone to the doctor in the first place BUT the condition she has isn't that common and again it's taboo-ish. ((also the dating site was Literally called "family q&a" and this was back in the early 2000s when the internet was like, still a relatively new thing in terms of communicating with strangers. ))
