HOW!? HOW!? How can a series be this good and only get better? I'll just have to accept that in 2018 I am watching the best thing I'll ever watch and never again I'll have the experience of watching anything this good.

Maybe people under 16 shouldn't watch dramas about uni students, then? They should watch Pokémon or something? Not all content needs to me made for children.

Sex is not "perverted". It's natural. And Love By Chance is far from porn or risqué. It's pretty much what straight couples have always got on screen.

There is a huge difference, though. You rooted for the couple on TWM. The couple made sense. It didn't feel they were incompatible.

I have not read a single person complain that the problem is that the new series isn't perfect, lovey-dovey or dreamy. Just that it was boring, poorly-written and repetitive, more in line with Bad Romance, which underwhelmed many, and not Together With Me, which was not perfect, lovey-dovey or dreamy until the very last episode, but it was compelling.

Exactly.

You can do drama without it being boring and contrived. It's not that it isn't happy enough. It's just that it isn't as interesting. Together With Me was a series where they where only happy at the very end, but it was compelling. You rooted for them. I'm now thinking about all three couples in The Next Chapter, that at least one person in each couple is irredeemably awful to the other. Unless the story is that they'll all break up and find better people in episode four, what's the point? Plus, you could cut half the scenes and it make no difference, because they have no bearing on the plot.

I didn't enjoy Bad Romance. I'm not enjoying this. It's just as bad. Together With Me was a much better series and I'll just pretend that is an alternate universe. You get two of the people who have most chemistry in the acting world and write a script where they are boring together, that is an achievement in bad writing. And it's not that I want them to be happy and sappy. They certainly weren't in most of Together With Me. It's just contrived and dull. When the series is done I'll watch the few good scenes everyone will be raving about. But breadcrumbs of fanservice here and there don't make a bad series good.

I love Max and Tul, but it's been a struggle to watch. The chemistry they have in real life and had in Together With Me is not on screen at all.

Korn and Knock were absolutely horrible to each other in Bad Romance. They treated each other rudely and with no empathy and respect. Many people came to love them because they completely changed both characters for the better in Together With Me. I think the fact this is more on par with Bad Romance disappointed people. Also, it seems the exact same plot of Bad Romance: struggling with going public.

They seem to be trying to match Bad Romance, which chronologically is right before this. But they had revamped the characters for Together With Me (they were almost opposites). So they have to match two completely different series. I hope this goes more the way of the far superior Together With Me.

This show is so rewatchable. I watch the episodes three times at least.

Or maybe AePet, having got their happy ending, will be on this new show, but be supporting characters, having happy lives, while the new main couple carries the drama. I'd approve of that.

I came to love Ponmd dearly and she is such a good match.

I think I know know why I love this show so much. It's because they tackle most BL clichés and tropes, but turn them on their head. In any other show, Trump threatening to out Pete would have loomed over the entire season. Here it was dealt with in the first episode. The girl rival? Not a conniving biatch, but an actually sweet girl, if a bit annoying. And instead of a love triangle, Ae made clear he was not interested. People have decent parents and friends. They don't gloss over the fact being gay has some issues, but they also address and deal with them. Ae's awakening is very real and intesteting and Pete's initial hesitation was very well-established given the circumstances. It's refreshing seeing a how that is not doing predictable plots, but actually surprises me on a weekly basis. There has been drama and conflict, but people talk things over. I'm sure there will be obstacles and drama, but it's so well-done. And finally, it's also refreshing that they understand we don't need angst every week. There have been an episode that Pete is even beat up. But you also have episodes like #8, where we just see a happy relationship progress.
