light hearted author meets publishing company story but really floppy...

This drama is like what my title said, cute, light hearted drama about female lead who is an upcoming author and the male lead is an editor in chief. Some parts are honestly pretty fun and some parts ares super cute!! of the two leads and they are filmed and directed in different angle, however the storyline is really choppy/floppy with two many side characters getting the limelight! This drama is only 24 episodes but there are two other side pairing relationships.

My complaint is that the side characters CANNOT get together or should have kissing scenes before the lead! The leads had the accidentally kissing scenes which is pretty cliche in drams now... It would of been nicer to see the leads build a solid relationship, like up until ep 18 their relationship is quite ambiguous. They arent really together but have kissed each on the cheeks while being drunk.

The main story is the female lead is unknown author. She has written a book but remained anonymous while someone else got the credit. She is simple, cheery, naive who often gets her creative juices for writing her novels at night. Opposite the male lead is a morning person who is very consistent, punctual , strict and loves to collect clocks. They both have a clock from their ancestors one is the night and the other morning. Orginally the female lead was an night owl and switch clocks with the male lead becoming a morning person while the male lead only wakes up at 12pm and stays up .

This clock switching storyline is poorly developed and by episode 18 they still cannot figure out how to switch it back. lol i would think if they kiss each other it would switch back ) but that is only my thought haha)

Female lead is cute but sometimes her sweet cute voice gets kinda too much and kinda annoying. Like i dont know if the character is just too naive....

They make a cute pair! Good chemistry ! dont care for the other two pairings tho !

SLOW COOKER ROMANCE!!!

I can say that I was a little fed up after watching this drama. This drama is cute and frustrating at the same time.... Like the male lead likes the online version of the female lead , while not liking the female lead in real life lol Then the female lead is googahgah over the male lead in real life. It's literally a game of mouse and cat chase, they literally missed each other by little bit each time and they always has misunderstanding/ miscommunication.

Male lead is a lead in a gaming company trying to produce a type of game called 3A ( not really sure what it stands for) Female lead works in the company on the opposite team as a designer/artist. She has a crush on the male lead, but the male lead doesnt have too good feelings for her. They both play this online shooting game. The male leads has a crush on the online female lead. For the longest time he didnt figure it out, up to when the female lead finally musters the courage to confess that she likes him. She gets rejected by the male lead.

The story then revolves around how the male lead is trying to make it uo to the female lead and trying to apologize .

Like so many miunderstanding and lack of communication... like the male lead suggested for the female lead to act very cutesy and lady like, but when it fact in real life he hates that type of girl. The male lead is literally stone cold and no response until he figures out the online person is the female lead, then her does everything to try to make it up to her... This is why they get together so late. They have good chemistry but way too little screen time romance. Their relationship literally slow cooks so it seems really real and convincing.

into the book and find romance!

This drama is only 12 ep but it definitely did not disappoint! More people should watch this! I like this genre/concept.

The male lead is storybook traveler. The female lead encounter the male lead when she was young and was gifted a jade bracelet. This jade bracelet helps her to travel between stories. Inside the story the female lead takes on the role of the female lead and try to complete a task. There is one that is set in the future, one where the male lead is a ceo. The stories are interesting and the romance is good! there is quite a few kisses.

However they didnt really explain the background of the male lead.. so hoping there is a season two. Also not explained well was the evil spirit that took over his friend. ( he was guarding the book while the leads where inside the story)

wanted more from the leads!!!

Cute mini drama, only 12 episodes!

Sister, Ding liao liao, and brother ding man live together in their uncle's apartment. There they rent out the room to the young professor, aka male lead. He is smart , dull in relationships and a man of few words. Ding liao liao our female lead is a news reporter. They also rent to another news reporter which ends up being Ding man's girlfriend.

This drama is the only series that i didnt mind the second pairing getting together first and having their kiss before the leads. They are a cute pair, the brother is pretty cute/innocent looking.

The leads had so much potential to have more chemistry and passion, but disappointed because they didn't get together until the last episode and had their first kiss in the last episode. They are a cute pairing and you can feel the chemistry, just wish they were together sooner!

superpower male lead to the rescue? the damsel in distress

Disclaimer! slight biases review because I wasnt fond of the actress who played the female lead. sorry she looks kinda botched up and ugly. I can't believe she is born in 98, for some reason she seems a lot older. Her character is quite annoying. She has a mary sue , naive, spoiled rich brat attitude. She takes charge of her dad's company because he has fallen ill in the hospital. She knows nothing about company managements and made a vow in 100 days to make the. company better. So the female lead doesnt have a choice but lives in the same house as the lead. The male lead developed a superpower after an accident when he was young. During their high school year the female lead steps into stop being from bulling the male lead. The male lead uses his powers to knock down the bullies and also wipes her memory of that incident. Fast forward to the current times, the female lead absolutely despises the male lead for messing up her confession of love to the second male lead. She woke up drunk next to the male lead and missed out on confessing to the second male lead. But in order to help her company, she lives with the male lead.Slowly they begin to develop feelings.

They have really good kissing scenes! but the song in the beginning shows its all already so its nothing really special. It's definitely cute! The third pairing is cute too, the doctor friend and the secretary. I could care less about the second lead, he's so ugly! He does look like a high school boy haha! Also I didnt like the female lead's best friend.

Anyways... there is always an evil dude trying get revenge... Why cant this be a simple fluff love story.

Cliche, no brainer story, but its a cute love stories between the pairs

This drama is a pretty standard cliche drama and kinda no brainer ( i mean not very logical at all )

This drama type is already cliche.. the female lead has a twin. The twin is smarter and wiser than her but because she has an accident she has to replace her. Her twin sister is a smart, calm , collected person. The female lead Jiang li li is pretty dumb and naive, sunny and funny. The male lead is the ceo of a movie production/film company. He secretly has a crush of Li Li. He does things to make Jiang Li li stay by his side, but she acts as her sister. Her sister has a fake relationship with the male lead.

This drama is only 24 episodes. One main focus is the three pairings. The relationship between the leads. The second relationship is with the twin sister and her pursuer from her youth. The third pairing is the twin sister's secretary and the male lead's younger brother. These three pair of romances are pretty cute! I dont mind them.

There are annoying characters here and there! Like in the beginning an annoying female celebrity who tries to sabotage the production. Good thing she isnt there for too long. After there are characters from the male lead's past, his college ?friend... Also another guy from Jiang Li Li's youth.... His motive his to break apart the leads.

I sometimes find the female lead a little lead and doesnt really use her brain enough. The storyline gets boring when the leads finally get together.

Side note, the male actor is hot and has a good bod haha

The journey after the power stone!

Im a fan of the leads but not a fan of the story too much !

First of all the female lead is gorgeous Cheng Xiao! so pretty in fantasy dramas! The leads are cute with cute chemistry, wish they have more kissing scenes! There is a total of one kiss on the lips but more female lead pecking the cheek of male lead.

Backstory: Ling Nu ( she holds the power stone, jumps off of the cliff) Even since then people have been trying to find her and the power stone. Little did you know she hid the power stone in her daughter. This daughter is the female lead and she grows up in the Lu family. She is always looked down upon because she doesnt have any powers! The one who has a lot of power is the male lead, Whenever the female lead is around the male lead she gets a slight increase in power thus always wanting to be around him. Lol she bites him and then later on kisses him on the cheek .

I love the female lead's cute and simple personality, but I dont like her evil dad or the queen. The evil dad just wants to find the power stone for himself! He doesnt even care about the daughter( then again the female lead is not is actually daughter). His character gets kinda annoying. Thats partly why I didnt enjoy the last few eps .

Lion meets the girl!

I came in watching with no expectation but was greatly surprised! First of all Huang xiao yun nailed the theme song!

The overall story is a refresher, since it' s has a Peking opera storyline meets movie/production tech!

Female lead is a Peking Opera singer at Shan Ding Ting.( she sings the male part) She likes her senior ( who sings the female counterpart). On one show she messes up her lines because she found out that her senior was going to get engaged to someone else. She eventually gets kicked out. The male lead is in theater tech production who focus on ancient day shows. He seeks out a character for his show and thinks the female lead is the perfect fit. She initially rejects but because her mom needs the money she accepts the role. The leads end up losing contact because the female lead's mom past away. The female lead is trying to make a career for herself, trying to get more on screen time! They eventually become a couple. The male lead has a troubled past which always bothers him. His mom committed suicide at a young age and that haunt him. Ever since he couldnt stand closets or look at blood or else he will faint and go to the hospital. The female lead has dreams, and the lion represents the male lead. The Lions seems strong and scary but the female lead is not scary. Initially it was the lion protecting the girl but becomes the girl protecting the lion.

They have a cute and sweet relationship together! Very believable romance! and some cute scenes together!

Had the potential to do better... but failed!!!

This summary might be more of a rant lol. This drama has so much potential ! after watching the preview on youtube I couldnt wait! This drama was a major let down for me, more than Love Script....

Female lead is in need of money to heal pay for her brother's medical bills , so she tries to become a maid in the Gu household. Female lead is cute and quirky, male lead is the Gu's son. He has a stone cold face and is good in making and designing jewelry. The leads start off on a wrong foot, like in many dramas.
In the Gu family , the father and mother has passed away, leaving behind the mistress ( which she never got a title to be the madam of the house). There is also mistress's son , Gu's 2nd son ( but he is not blood related) , and a third daughter which is the eldest son's blood related sister, but she got lost a long time ago and the grandma. Thus the grandma becomes upset and gets sick from missing the grand daughter. The grandma thinks that the female lead is her lost granddaughter... So our female lead is stuck in accepting the role. The female lead stays in the Gu household to find her long lost play mate from when she was young. She recognized him through a jade he has, and that person is Gu's second son, which she didnt know. So she develops a friendship with both the brothers. She slowly starts to fall in love with the male lead (the older brother) , he does too but doesnt show his love.
At this time the mistress aka 2nd son gu's mom comes back. She is obviously a evil character and is strict and mean. She is shocked that the third daughter is back because she was the one that sent someone to go after the third daughter. She questions the identity of the female lead. She tries to get rid of the female lead. The leads try to figure out what happened to male lead's mom and what the cause of her death was. Eventually they get the mistress to confess her evil deeds.
At around the same time the mistress is introduced, we get introduced to the second female lead. She grew up with the gu's oldest son and has a contracted marriage. She really likes him and doesnt want to give him up.Even though she knows that the leads are in love with each other. Some stuff happens and the male lead is forced to marry the second female lead. Second female lead does things to break them apart.....

RANT!!
1) Didnt feel the lead's connection, chemistry or passion
2) They had too little scenes together! not enough time to make their relationship feel real... The whole drama has a lot going on
3)unnecessary side character , which made the plot more annoying and nuisance . the mistress and the second female lead , even that doctor ( he had no use whatso ever)
4) this drama was slightly on the comedic side, but i didnt find it worked, in general I am not a fan of comedy/ ancient mixed together
5) overall storyline had to much going on and then it skips and jumped around. it doesnt offer any explanation of what happened , it just jumped to the next scene....
6) love triangle didn't help to develop the story.
7) too much focus on family issues

Honestly I must rather just watch the preview for this drama! it was done so nicely and made this drama seem like it was going to be a good one, but this one just flopped. The end part of it jumped like three years and I'm like what is going on.... The first half of this drama it was already like a 7 for me, just kinda bland and nothing really partially stand out..... it dropped a little more after what happen in he latter half... sighs..

I dont recommend, unless you have nothing to watch....

Who is the mastermind culprit behind it all ?

I'm not usually a big fan of police genre dramas. This one was alright in my books. This drama was told from a different perspective. I liked how it told the story in the recount of the female lead and then the male lead., but after while that got kinda repetitive. It started pretty interesting but as the story went on it was kind of like a torture for me ( torture in terms of who is actually the really culprit, it just seem that they keep going in circles and couldnt find the evidence lol)

Yan JIn is the male lead played by Kenny Lin ( whom i like !!!) He was a narcotic cops who turned undercover. But due to a certain operation and his good friend and undercover cop getting killed , he gets released from being a narcotic officer. Six years later he is once again going undercover to try to take down the people who sells drug. Yan Jin gets evidence that a new drug distributor is no other than a young and promising violinist. This violinist is currently working at a coffee shop the female lead owns. So he decides to court her, but his intention is finding more about the violinist. The violinist eventually gets murdered and Yan JIn is to blame. At the same time the case from 6 years ago resurface. Everything points to Yan Jin as killing his undercover cop friend from 6 years ago and the violinist.

The first 10- 15 episodes was about his currently undercover mission, but the primary focus is on the case 6 years ago and trying to see if yan jin is indeed the killer. To me first part of the drama where he tries to catch the drug dealers went a little too smooth... I guess the story's emphasizes is not on there. However they took such a long time for them to even figure out who the actually suspect was...

I was really touched by the female lead and her pure devotion she had for the male lead. When the whole world was saying Yan Jin was a killer, she stood by his side and never believed them. Although she did do something pretty stupid at the end, which nearly caused her life...

I wish they could have done more romance. They were a cute couple but didn't have a whole lotta time together.

A Story of a a car corporation and how they reach their goal to produce an electric car

This drama is definitely different and more for a mature audience, in the sense that its about the exclusiveness of a car auto industry, with it the high and lows and the things they are faced with. If you are looking for romance , this is the wrong drama for you. This drama is like fine wine, lol not everyone appreciates it.

The story background is a little complicated. It is set in the auto motive industry with the company Tian Guan.
The female lead grew up with her dad learning a lot of cars, thus forming a passion for it later. Her occupation is an undercover investigator, for a corporation that wants to purchase other company at a low price. She is sent to get close to the Tian Guan company. The male lead is the 2nd heir of the Tian Guan company, but he does more research and engineering to produce an electric car ( they are called Yue Guo Shan Qiu). The female lead works from the bottom up , from working as a sales in the 4s team, to slowly giving out ideas about how to make the company better. Like test driving the car for seven days before actually buying it. She has her motives to being in Tian Guan. She tries to figure out what happen with her dad's company, which caused him to commit suicide. Tian Guan is faced with a lot of diffculties, when the eldest brother decides to leave his ceo position. Eventually our female lead takes the role of ceo , but take the fact that she still has the other identity. She struggles with what she should do , should she sell Tian Guan?

The main driver and spotlight goes to the female lead Ou Yan Xia Lan played by Zhang li ! Her character is so brave, witty, bold, wise, The male lead Peng yue was kinda weak because throughout the drama his focus was on trying to develop a electric car . He waws kinda passive and he wasnt an assertive overbearing ceo lol . Theres hardly any romance but i feel like its an actually adult romance, like i dont have to day i love you, or kiss but I still support you and love you from afar. By the things that i am doing I am going to save your grandfather's company Tian GUan. It was a different type of romantic.

btw can they make more dramas with the second male as lead, i had second male lead syndrome. He was so nice and never got anything ( then he turn slightly evil...) sighs....!!!

This drama is usually not my cup of tea but was pleasantly surprise. Dont think this drama is for everyone , but some one will appreciate it :)

Older flight attendant and younger male flight attendance romance

This drama was a decent watch, not overly draggy, short enough episodes of 24. Each chapter is around 30 minutes.

Storyline; 7.5/10
- male lead is younger 22 years old, trying to get his credential. to fly. Due to a trauma experience he has a fear of heights. Female lead is older than male lead . She is 32 year old, calm and collected flight attendant with a lot of experience. They meet to to her being his teacher. He overcomes his fear of heights pretty quickly! i thought maybe it would go for a little longer. After the plot wasn't really boring but not the most exciting. It became more about them flying and the male lead trying to court the female lead. Female lead runs into her ex.... The male lead runs into some problems and then grows. Eventually female lead and male lead gets together. There is also some side characters. Second female lead is a vlogger who does eating videos, she gets entangled with one of her fans who turns out is a rich second generation. ( in reality the male lead is one year older than the female , lol just in this drama she looks older.)

Romance: 8/10
For me the female lead initially was really reserved about her relationship. I felt the male was more in love with her. Their kissing scenes are some what passionate, with a believeable chemistry/passionate. I liked that is wasn't just the male initiating but the female would too. There isn't a whole of of kissing but its fine.

Overall :
It's a pretty decent drama. The male and female lead are both rookie actors/actresses I believe. To be its average, its not super boring but a ok watch for those who don't have something to watch >_<

DUDE I CANT BELIEVE I ACTUALLY WATCHED IT ALL!! mostly skipped a lot of it. if you really have a lot of time then go ahead ... but otherwise I wont recommend this drama
1) 60 freaking episodes is way too much, they try to write/ pack so much in the drama . The plot is sooo stupid and dumb ( im sorry)
2) the beginning when they were a kid started off really strong and then it just spiral down so much
3) was the role of Duan Mu Rong ( Kenny Kwan) even necessary ? Can i even consider him a a second male?
( not to mention the part of how they raised a girl and she tried to dress up like a man...... )
4( too many darn characters and kingdoms that i couldt keep up with. Im like there's a king here , there , and there.
5) The whole drama revolves around the twins ( male lead has is a twin) has a hidden twin. The twin likes the female lead's sister. So the sister the whole time thinks the person she slept with is the male lead but is not , actually the twin. and because of some reason he can only stay under because he needs to protect their family treasure.
6) they portray the female lead as smart and witty but towards the middle she wasnt really helpful .She didnt shine as much and felt that her sister ( who turned evil) out shone her.
7) Ughh so many annoying characters, like some of the other reviews said. Evil Sister, Evil "brother", the list goes on lol

MORE RANT THAN REVIEW Female lead is talented in her career but wants to start over again.

I was quite intrigued by the summary of this drama. This drama started off very decent and then it went downhill for me! The only redeeming factor is the female lead. I really liked how she was written.

Female lead once had a prestigious life, studying over seas, graduating from a well known university, worked at the top 2 IT companies, had a boyfriend, and best friend, but everything came crashing down when her boyfriend married the boss's daughter and her bestie died of a sickness. She is stricken with grief and goes back to home to start over again. There she accidentally runs into the 3rd male lead who rented the female lead grandma's house. She lands a job as a front desk in their company. She just wants to be simple and not let anyone know of her past. I really liked the female lead because she is humble, and enduring. Despite her ex boyfriend's wife trying to humiliate that doesnt let her down! But to me she forgave the male lead way to quickly....

There are Three "male" leads but not actually when you start to watch it you can definitely tell who the main main lead is. Two out of the three are brothers and the last one is the friend.

Male lead- the boss to a tech company, he is blunt, straight forward , cold and a block head when it comes to relationships. He was also the childhood friend of the female lead. In the first few episodes her already recognized her. As for the female lead, she remembers him little later because he changed his name. I honestly didnt like his character for how inflexible he was and didn't try hard enough to express his feelings for the female lead. He is one of the reasons why i dropped this drama. He is so petty and explosive with his emotions, like when they get into heated arguments, he becomes an ass.

2nd male lead- Also the boss of a tech company, the rival of the male lead. 2nd lead is cunning, deceptive, and is charming. He was the senior of the female lead while at university. I also dont like him because he is too much for me. Does so many things to try to make the female lead try to fall in love or show that he likes her. He is so manipulative and uses many ways to get her attention which I dont. Like he knew that the female lead ex married someone else and she got dumped. He would invite her to the party, which he knew the ex was going to.

3rd male- He is the housemate of the female lead. They are strictly friends. He has a chill personality who likes to game. and takes pictures. He is a programer or IT in the male lead's company, 2nd and 3rd are brothers but they are on bad terms!( out of the three I like him the most!

To me the female lead and the male lead's past didnt really add much points. It did in the beginning, thinking it was cute, but I was so turn off by the male lead's actions and personality. Like seriously, off all the dramas I have ever watched I think he is my most hated male lead to date!!! lol Also male lead isnt very handsome in my opinion.

Also I didn't like the fact they that introduced the ex of the male lead. She was annoying as hell! Bitch ass , who downgraded the female lead. If i were the female lead i would slap the annoying ex girlfriend. I mean her ex boyfriend wife's humiliation isnt enough , they need to add the male lead's ex gf... horrible!

I did enjoy the music tho.
