I think its not about expressing their opinions, it's more like the way people convey it. Some comment sections are downright toxic. Its like when you read a book end from the first chapter you already know you won't like it. Sure enough there are some dramas that do surprise us, despite the boring/dumb beginning, but there are some that are bad. The thing is, only with one episode people critique the directing, acting, setting, ost,(even the lighting!!) and in a very negative way. And that discourage people from giving chance to hidden gems out there. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinions, but sometimes a :
"- oh it's just too silly for me."
Is better than:
"-this actress is soo bad, the directing is horrible, the clothes are cheap and the chemistry is so lacking!"

I get what you are saying. Sometimes i fell like people complain just to have something to hate. But at the same time I have a great sense of belonging when i come to the comment section. My friends do not enjoy asian dramas, so I kind of get a community here to discuss the drama. But I definitely understand, the negativity has been really strong lately.

This drama is so nice! I was nit expecting liking it so much. Such a surprise!

Exactly, they had freaking 42 episodes, and instead of explaining his/her past, talking more about corporate espionage or even some romance, nope, they spent it on Mo Li, QJX, the stalker doctor, and boring monologs.

Oh yes! I cannot believe i wasted my time... honestly I just didn't drop bc I thought they wouldn't do A-lists so dirty.

The "sisters" are the worst part. Seriously if someone approach me to find dirt on my sister i would 100% hate her. And 1 episode can't get by without Moli doing stupid stuff and apologizing...

The potencial is great, i honestly don't know how they made it so boring...
