lol yes the kindergarten kissing is so awkward in every drama!! I was actually surprised that their college selves kissed somewhat like normal people, really convinced me that they should have played the adult roles as well. I heard this drama was adapted from a novel. Hopefully the book was better written.

I totally agree. Reading all the good opinions about this drama I wanted to try it. But, I only liked the college…
I'm glad you agree! The sweet fluffy romance between the college couple helped me soldier through the rest of the drama. I think the biggest disappointment for me was that even after them getting back together in the end, she never regained that sunny personality from her college days.

As you said, what I liked about college!Mo Sheng was her sassy, playful banter with everyone else. You never see that with the adult version. It's like growing up made her lose even the most basic conversational skills, reducing most of her dialogue in the latter half of the show to constant giggle fits, as if to cover up the fact that she's now too boring as a person come up with anything witty to say. Not to mention her cutesy childlike act was bordering on creepy. Call me uptight but seeing a woman nearing her thirties act like that just made me cringe every time. Definitely felt like a totally different person haha.
