This is the best on airing gmm show right now. Po and Nano's insecurities about failure is something everyone can relate to at some point. Out of all the members, I definitely felt more closer to Nano's. He's scared to depend on his members because they might just get up and leave one day so he try different things so he doesn't rely on anyone.
I know people don't like Jun but I loved that after he decided to join the group, he is the reason why Dylan and Nano decided to join as well. His words to Dylan about them leaving Thame as well made him realize he is causing someone he loves pain and decided to join back. Jun telling Nano that he has more skills than the rest of them and reducing Nano's insecurity of being a failure made Nano believe that his seniors actually have his best interest at heart.
And obviously, the last scene that had us all going insane. THAME THE MAN YOU ARE!! This show is honestly so exceptional. Every ending of each ep is so memorable I have yet to forget how each episode ended. Thame helping Po cross the street being a call back to their phone call, Thame hesitating to hold Po's because he didn't want to hurt Po if he turned out to not have feelings for him, him hugging Po and slowly smiling because he likes Po so he's actually not giving him false hope WHO IS DOING IT LIKE THEM?? I think the reason why we enjoy this show is because you can sense the feminity in the writing, the directing, the way Thame and Po look at each other. The way they are soft with each other. This entire show has a female touch like most romantic Kdramas do. SHOUT OUT TO PEPPER!!
I saw this every week but WilliamEst's chemistry is clearing up every other Gmmtv couple right now. If you think you faves have more chemistry than WilliamEst you are wrong.
I'm glad that this show is not only focusing on romantic love but platonic love as well. Oftentimes, platonic love is treated second to romantic love, with the writers and even the audience not paying attention to how important friendship is. But this show makes a point to emphasize that Po and Thame cannot be in a relationship until Thame is happy with his members. While Thame finds solace and comfort with Po right now, his members are very important to him. They mean everything to him. Thame only wants to continue his idol journey with his brothers and I find that beautiful. Don't get it twisted the chemistry between WilliamEst is so intense that I need them to be together right now but the slowburn is delicious. Imagine all the tension and eye fucking Thame is going to give us when his feelings for Po strengthen and vice verse. Imagine the yearning!!!
This show has exceeded any expectations I had previously. I did try to keep my expectations low because its GMMTV but it was hard not to have expectations after the official trailer. But I did not know it was going to be this good
