I know everyone is mentioning the whole not seeing a Dr. (which I totally agree) but my other question was - why not try anal then? I even went to far as to see if that is taboo in Japanese culture but I couldn't find anything about it. Also the fact that Kumiko didn't even know about lube until that guy gave it to her which was after like 10 years or so of being married?? You would think google searching about "penis not fitting" that lube would be the first thing to come up.
I thought this drama started out really cute and interesting. In the middle it got kind of weird with the metaphors (like her great aunt with the candy) then I'm glad I finished it out - especially with the iconic scene of all the parents yelling at each other and Kumi standing up and yelling over them.
