I think it's the same when he used the sword because in episode one Maidservant Kim said to Uk "Since you used that sword, you will struggle tonight as well" implying the wraiths. Wraiths also give you chills that's why Uk tends to drink strong alcohol to prep for it.

When you watch so many dramas, your view became unrealistic. I think many people want "Eternal Love" between Jang Uk and Naksu plus want HIM to recognize HER before "falling" in love with her which is not the case here and they don't like that.

Can you elaborate your point on why Jang Uk is betraying Naksu? There are phases to grief after losing the love of your life. From Denial, Guilt, Anger, Loneliness to acceptance and ready to move on. He finally let her go and accept her death after 3 years of yearning for her.
- Also from episode 4, Uk really want Naksu to rest in peace hence the reason why he accept to catch the soul shifter called Naksu and put her name to rest as well so people stop putting false rumors in her name.

What specific romantic scenes are initiated by Jang Uk besides episode 4? After all, they are still husband and wife even if it's not for love purposes. Bu Yeon is fragile and being alone in the mountain is dangerous. Is it not right for Jang Uk to be worried and try to lead her home with the fireflies after all the shitty things that he said to her on the hill?
I understand your view but you're also disregarding a lot of times that Jang Uk avoids Bu Yeon and hurts her. It is for sure that Bu Yeon's actions swayed Jang Uk and makes him feel guilty, therefore, his avoidance and coldness toward her. Yes, this implied that Jang Uk is influenced by Bu Yeon without knowing that she's Naksu and I believe that they are taking this route which leads to a lot of split opinions and I understand. Jang Uk is finally accepting Naksu's death and mourning for her which is a big progress in his life right now.

Jang Uk has been living in hell for the past three years without Naksu. He yearns for her and is unwilling to let her go which can be seen when he carries her sword, hold on to their Yin-Yan jade and spend most of his time beside Naksu's gravestone which he built. I don't understand why everyone is taking that fact so lightly when Jang Uk decides to accept Naksu's death.
Yes, their love is unconditional and it's hard to move on but that's what he has been doing for three straight years and even put up an aura around him that no one dares to approach but Bu Yeon.

Bu Yeon enters his life and shines a slim light in his heart. It's Bu Yeon but technically still Naksu's personality so he doesn't just fall for any girl. He even clarified that she only serves one purpose for him which is removing the stone. Jang Uk's words always felt so distant to Bu Yeon yet she understands him. The process of Jang Uk slowly being swayed by her was well done. Remember that there are also people around him that influenced the decision that he makes, Maidservant Kim, Park Jin's wise words, etc that make Jang Uk come to a realization and heading into the acceptance phase of mourning for the love of his life and let she rests in peace.

I think Jin Mu clarified in episode 3 that Bu Yeon's face resembles Naksu but their figure is completely different from each other. I forgot what exactly he said but somewhere along the line of Naksu being taller, and bigger in physique than the current Bu Yeon. ( although it's the same actress yes)

How can you take their love so lightly that Jang Uk could fall for any girl? Uk's transforms into a "hard-to-approach" and puts up a wall so everyone would be afraid to even be near him for the past three years after he is revived. There was no moment in his life where he forgets her. Jang Uk always yearns for Naksu, carries Yin-Yan jade, her sword, visits her gravestone, etc. He's unable to let her go.

Jang Uk always pushes Bu Yeon away, hurts her with his words, and even clarified that he wed her for a purpose. It could be Bu Yeon but it's still Naksu's personality and their resemblance to each other that sways Jang Uk. Her bluntness, honesty, and unwillingness to give up. It is also Park Jin that makes Jang Uk realizes that it's time to accept Naksu's death.
When someone gives you so much to remember, it is okay to still love them but that love is different than the present one that's currently there for you.

I don't think I could agree with you that Jang Uk is betraying Naksu. Jang Uk changed because of her, carrying her sword because he misses her and yearns for her, unable to visit the cliff because he hopes that she is alive. He lives in an illusion hoping that she will return one day or wishes to die so he could be with her. It has been a repetition for three years. Not a single day where he can be genuinely happy,

Bu Yeon is the one that slowly brightens up Uk's life. He won't just like any girl because he always pushes Bu Yeon away and hurt her feelings, but Bu Yeon still stays with him despite all that. There is a certain point in your life when you will learn to accept the truth and move up. Why is it called cheating if the one you yearn for is no longer there and you decide to move on?

I don't know, wouldn't it be more meaningful if Uk connects all the dots and find out himself? There are many similarities between them now and maybe later on that it will be hard to ignore. I just hope he finds out soon though.
